  • are you really suggesting that Paul is satanic ? oh god, what this world have become!

  • It's called '222' and it's the third song on the bonus CD, mmmmmm.

    3x222

  • or should that be take 555?

  • interesting ,but really not as good as TAKE FIVE which he appears to have stolen..............

  • The first thing I do, when I go to a bar with an electronic jukebox, is put this track on. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Katy Perry and Chris Brown bullshit. God, I love Paul.

  • zero 7

  • It still makes me wonder why he keeps his best song off the album and put them out as a bonus track.

This is, with the other bonus tracks from this album, (so beautiful and others) better than the album itself.

Still, it is MCCARTNEY. All in capitols!

  • Minimal and jazzy! OK.

  • 222... see it everywhere, everyday...

  • can someone tell me how to play that riff? I don't know what the notes are? HELP!

  • @nicolaparr2907 D G A D... the second D is an octave higher than the first D... and that's the whole riff

  • EXCELENTE¡¡¡¡¡

  • GENIO

  • an awesome song in every aspect

  • Mr Paul The Music Master!

  • I found out that I was born the 222 day of the year and I came to realize on that very day there was a fireball in the sky, that was the most unusual one of a kind called US19720810. My name means - spirited, large island, and my last name means redhead. The coat of arms for my name is a hand pointing at a ball of fire (sun).

  • My mother was on the delivery table giving birth to me at exactly 22 hours and 22 minutes. thats 10:22pm on the 222nd day of the year.

  • @azifitiz i want to read your natal report!

  • 22 or 222 is the number for revelation or simply revealed knowledge. as in

Daniel 2:22 understanding mysteries. it's an end time type of revealing, so the number 222 gets more prevalent as the years go on.

22 chapters in the book of revelations.

there is a common thread to this number.

  • @azifitiz

    Paul also did a song as the Fireman called 444. 222 + 444 = ....

  • PAULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • anyone else seeing number 222 everyday in daily things?

  • @musicResistances Like picks?

  • yes...................it started when I used to wake up at 2:22 AM in highschool. What I'm trying to figure out is did it really start with the split of my real parents because there is a park close to where we lived called 222 Wyanoke Park. I guess thats where the first big disappointment started.

  • @musicResistances You have no idea. It's been bugging me for a while now, I just now found out that alot of people see it.

  • @musicResistances I do! I think im on to a discovery. Ive been seeing it for years now. 222mystery(dot)com if your not familar is a site where people who have seen it, came together on a forum. I'm freaking out... the connection between rodin coils and the number 222 i just made is so intriguing.

  • @musicResistances I do man i see it every day!!! its really weird!

  • @musicResistances omg I do! I can't believe there is a song about this number X_X

  • @musicResistances i really do see this number, and it creeps me out a little bit.

  • @musicResistances me too :S

  • @musicResistances Yes lately i have and its been tripping me out. That's why i'm here, but didnt find what i was looking for.

  • @musicResistances I started seeing 222 in the early 90's

  • A TRIO WITHOUT JOHN, AND A PACK OF TWO NEW PRINCIPAL MEMBERS, MAKING HIT RECORDS AND TOURING SUCCESFULLY. THE OTHER, THE SECOND PART OF HE NAME OF THE BAND IT'S A NAME OF THE ONE OF THE STATES, OF THE UNITED STASTES BUT I CANT'N REMEMBER .ITS WIRED.

  • @andylandverses - Is this the same comic that looked like it was about PID? With Batman looking at the Beatles and saying "But one of them is not the real guy" or something like that.

  • @debjorgo You got it right, that's the one. "But one of them is death, but which one" i think it is my friend.

  • @debjorgo - It is. I just looked it up. The page where I found the cover, has a link back to this page.

Batman, issue 222. Turned out everybody but Saul had died. Turn me on, Batman.

  • The real meaning... the issue of Batman vs The Beatles, magazine comics release circa 1970. THE ISSUE WAS MAGAZINE NUMBER 222 OF BATMAN SERIES COMICS. MYSTERY?,HOAX? WHO KNOWS. THE THING IS THAT PAUL ENDED UP WITH A TRIO CALLED PHOENIX SOMETHING I DONT REMEMBER THE OTHER PART, BUT IT'S SOMETHING SIMILAR TO WHAT HAPPENED 2 YEARS LATER WITH WINGS, (AND HERE S ANOTHER CLUE FOR YOU ALL THE WALRUS WAS PAUL).

  • Something to listen to when your walking in the streets of Vancouver.....

  • what is ear candy?

  • The best part is the 0:00 to 3:41 >:3~

  • Great tune! Title reminds me to my Rolf Benz 222 lounge couch / chill island.

  • Really interesting to hear the master of melody branching into more atmospheric dimensions.

  • seems inspired by the original fantasia! cool!

  • Sinestesia

  • 2:22 F666

    TRIP-2:22

  • hola soretes

  • 222 is a traditional British railway ticket number.

  • this HINT of 70's kills me ! GENIUS ! as usual....

  • See "Batman" issue # 222

  • what a fantastic song, fantastic falsetto by Paul. the piano playing is simply hypnotic. The bass sounds incredible. Great, great production! i wish that they had included this on the regular version of MAF.

  • Interesting. I just 'liked' this video, bringing the total number of thumbs-up to 666.

  • this is the weirdest thing ever!

  • All greetings from Ekaterinburg, Urals Mountains, Russia. Yesterday in poker to me the pocket pair, on flope catching 222 comes. I lift, one - call, another -puts more. I - all in. As a result - I lose with 222, the guy with 666 loses too, win full-house 666KK. In my spirit there was something thoughtful and not the most cheerful, as in this song of the Great Paul. Sorry.

  • Is there a song called 333? I'm hoping to put together a compliation starting with 111 by Paul Weller.

  • wink!

  • Sir Paul, I love this, you have always been amazing. Michele

  • 222 is a standard British railway key. Fuck's sake people, stop making an occult out of everything.

  • No se puede creer. Este tipo va a seguir innovando y componiendo hasta que los gusanos lo coman, Salud por eso!

  • Aaaaaaaah....I feel like I'm floating down a river of awesomeness....oh Paul, what you do to me!!!! =)

  • Bloody Brilliant Bideo !

  • 222 is the number of the Batman Magazine

  • Shankley posted about that today on the plastic macca blog. Check it out :-)

  • Artist use anything to sell or make it fun. Numbers hold no power over anything. That is nonsense.

  • 222. second letter of the alphabet B. BBB

    Bongs, Bitches & Beer

    thats it

  • mathrock

  • 222 is not evil

    because with triplicate numbers

you do not add the numbers you look at the number as a whole

2 is a good number the number of a good decision or choice angels supposively use triplicate numbers to comunicate with humans and give guidance 2 is a number god likes and

occurs in nature repetitively look at your body and you will see so. 6 on the other hand symbolizes being pretty much screwed and all so is seen in many deformities like more than five digits on appendage

  • 222 is the new saying for peace out, aka BYE

  • fantastic.

  • strange, paul mcartney is my favorite singer

    my favorite numbers 222 wtf?

  • The Fireman is dead and the eggman shall rise soon!!!!!!!!!

  • Great Theme! Thank you Sir Paul.

  • Adoro questa canzone *_*

  • OMG. 222 HAS 3 2'S. SO 3 TIMES 222 IS 666. OMGOMGOMGOGM. jk. It's absurd to make these idiotic statements that the Beatles were with the occult. I mean come on. seriously? it's just people trying to get famous off of other people fame.

  • LOL, well spotted! 666 is another Thelemic number so it works on a few levels. There's a pattern to Beatles stuff:

Beatles remasters released: 9-9-9, which is 666 upside down & also 9 3 times is 93. 93 = Thelema greeting.

Beatles "past masters" CD - 33 songs

McCartney "Good Evening, NYC" CD - 33 songs

"Across the Universe" CD - 33 Beatles songs

"From Liverpool to Abbey Road:A Beginning Guitar Method Featuring 33 Songs of Lennon & McCartney"

Beatles prepared 33 songs for 1st EMI audition

  • What's w/all the 33s/999s/666s?

"Within the tradition of Thelema, numbers play a very significant role. Aleister Crowley often used numbers, using a method called gematria to find hidden mystical meanings and connections between various ideas and things."

Not trying to "get famous", just something I've noticed as a Beatles & McCartney fan. They are/were into occult numbers.

  • It's purely coincidence. What about all the other albums with 12 songs or 14 songs etc on them? You're saying and artist that happens to have 333/666/999 on anything is into occult numbers. It's ridiculous.

  • No, I'm saying the Beatles were, and it's not ridiculous at all because it's a known fact that John Lennon was fascinated by numerology, & thought the number 9 had some great cosmic significance in his life. That's simply true.

  • I love the video that accompanies this song. It helped me understand what this genre of music means. I'm envious of Paul McCartney's ability to lucidly delve into the aesthetic highlights of his day-to-day experiences. He must be a very happy person.

  • @1StarForEveryone That Maybe so Sir! anyway the music is perfect to my ears....

  • Check out the batman comic no. 222, haha. I love this song!

  • LOLOL. xD

  • 1)the beatles is rock. O.K?

they are not devil followers or whatever.

the beatles is my Favourite band ever.

    2)go paul! you are great!

  • please stop with the Beatles being devil followers. They are angels from God and sing of LOVE !

    Joe Blinn

  • Sorry, it's the truth. I didn't say they were devil followers, but they definitely WERE followers of Crowley. He's one of the featured "heroes" on the cover of Sgt. Pepper. There's a bunch of Crowley references throughout the Beatles, and McCartney's solo work. Do some research & find the truth.

  • Oh, yeah. Okay. & Paul's actually Dead, right?

  • Just cause I think Paul's into the occult doesn't mean I think he's dead. Those people are crazy. :) Everything I've said is true if you bother to check. Just google Crowley & Beatles for a start.

Crowley: "Do what thou wilst shall be the whole of the law." "Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the will."

Lennon:The whole Beatle idea wasdo what thou wilst." McCartney:"The Beatles were magic..It's something that must be thought of as magick with a 'k'."

  • They sure did.

"Love is the law, love under will" - Law of Thelema

  • 222 sound like one third of the beast lol jk

  • No, 222 is the number of the "Double Aleph", according to the occultist Aleister Crowley. Who is also known as the "great beast." So really you're not so far off, LOL.

"222" is an important mystical number to Crowley & his philosophy of Thelema. McCartney has mentioned that he is influenced by Crowley, so IMO this title is not a coincidence. Yet more proof that McCartney is a Crowley disciple.

  • The Fireman.... Rushes.

    The Barber.... Shaves.

    The Banker.... Sitting... Waiting.

  • 02012010 5* for 2 2 2! Great!

  • better if only 2:22 seconds.

    too much buggerizing around.

    Beatles got to the point.

Lots of songs on Chaos are MUCH better for being 2:30 seconds rather than 3:30-4:00 like a lot of songs on Flaming Pie.

    Too much buggerizing around.

  • this feels along the lines of John's "Tomorrow Never Knows" - love it!

  • oops i just got back on this and just saw that somebody beat me to the " is there nothing that he can't do" line! i guess we all agree anyway!!!!

  • Impressive. Paul is doing things I never thought I'd hear him do. I like it.

  • reminds me of the fireman stuff. this is just amazing. and i think there is nothing that he can't do. keep on rockin' big mac!

  • Is there anything that Sir Paul can't do? If so he's yet to show it some 53 years after hitting the world stage.......no one will ever match his incredibly diverse talent. And he's a "normal" person as far as entertainers are concerned or anyone else for that matter. Keep rockin' Paul - you continue to amaze this world. This song sounds like it should be playing in some hip nightclub in NYC, South Beach or Vegas.

  • Simply amazing!!!

Paul is always the best, no doubt.

  • This is what you get when you let Stephen Hawking do a video! X-rays, photons, gamma, alpha, beta, radiation -- quarks on malt liquor, high, grooving on God knows what funk jazz! Wow!

  • Who is Marco Sandeman? Sorry I just don't know this, born to late to know I guess

  • this could be Paul's "Take Five". there are so many interpretation you could do with this piece...

    AND it's divisible by 2, 3 and of course 6 :))

  • Take Five is in 5/4, this one is in 7/4, very different.

  • and that is relevant how? :))

  • very jazzy

  • muuy buena cancion y video, de verdad que mccartney es un excelente artista, siempre inovando, no se cansa este hombre, mis respetos de verdad! saludos desde mexico

& back to 2nd ...1:07! SO FINE & PERFECT ! Only Paul can represent dissonance SO PERFECTLY TUNED !

    GENIUS !

  • Monsieur Oiseaudenuit,

I understand that you like Sir Paul very much. I have the complete works of the Beatles. They understood simplicity at the height of its glory. It was tragic when Lennon was shot. He and McCartney were two of the finest singer/song writers ever. I'm glad that Paul lives on.

  • 222 is a response to his daughter who was 2 when this written

  • Excelente! de lo mejor de Paul.

  • This would have fitted very well on "Electric Arguments".

  • man, he just choose "222" because "221" was already taken. dummies ...

  • Pedro Eustache plays many instruments in this piece.... Pedro Eustache, Venezuelan to the world!!!

  • when he says 'look at her walking' his voice sounds like a clarinet, like they use in Jazz music. it's a cool effect...

  • pauls a genius...lovin all the beatles albums back in charts,yeah..............

  • Macca#222Batman#222 DEAD UNTIL PROVEN ALIVE

"The clue is on their album cover".

  • runner... thats funny, i've been noticing 222 all the time. I look at the time.. 222. Maybe because i channel surf and its always comercial time around 22 minutes after the hour?

  • New winAmp plugin advertisement.

  • amazing tour de force... keep going sir macca

  • Mesmerising, peaceful. Fine work from the ever-youthful, forward moving Sir Paul.

  • Very cool tune. For some reason I can't help thinking he sounds sounds like Ben Stiller in that first lyric. And thats not a bad thing mind you.

  • This song is really cool...I haven't been a fan of McCartney lately, but this was the best thing about Memory Almost Full, and I love it.

  • Paul you are a satinest!! But I stilll love u

  • How many times are you going to add that comment on his videos? Nobody agrees with you. That's why you have 7 thumbs down.

  • Paul is a complete genius.

  • nice effects

  • Love the video, especially how Paul's voice is portrayed in an oscilloscope wave form, cool.

    Peace

    Mark

  • 1:07 - 1:15 LOL looks like that one part in Yellow Submarine!!! good stuff!

  • Some of the tracks on Memory Almost Full should not have been on the album. This one should have been on it. just as Why So Blue, the other bonus. But then again, isn't that typical McCartney? Leaving his best for those who care to dig deeper?

  • because he admires the ones who go deeeper

  • beautifull and fresh and innovative.

  • First part reminded me of the part of a music box that spins

  • really me too

  • you didn't mean....2say "BOX? BLUE ONE"? :)

  • great, amazing, awesome, wonderful, nice, peaceful, extraordinary, this is art; it's harmony of senses (vision and hearing). ILOVED IT!

  • This is Amazing!
