I have heard my share of lewd jokes. I mean, I'm no hayseed. I like to whoop it up as much as the next fellow. But there is a line of decency that people should not cross, and I think you guys may have crossed it. This kind of "potty humor" is just not necessary to get laughs. For example I like the show Full House. That Uncle Joey really gets me. Anyway you look like nice boys, I just hope you don't lose your way trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Wow. Always thought of humor in the church as '#1: what do you stand to gain and #2: what do you stand to lose?' A good discernment question to ask, guys. When the answer to #1 is 'a good laugh' and the answer to #2 is potentially a lot more than that (reputation, trust, witness, etc.) that's often pulled me back from potentially getting too edgy with a joke or illustration. Forget the 'is it a cuss word or not' issue; better to ask 'is it beneficial?' (1 Cor. 10:23). Discernment, guys.

The reason people are giving it such flack is because these guys do a lot of sketch comedy for NorthPoint Community Church, so these videos go out in to church circles. For a lot of "Christians" this emphasizes the atmosphere of NP. Personally I'm a Christian and I found this hilarious.

honestly the way i see it is if these videos were always "Christian and clean cut" they would never get the viewers they are getting now, why? because look at the top youtubers as of now,sure this may be too much for some people but to the rest of the youtube community this is good stuff and if this video leads to another that might present the gospel through a comedic way then i'm all for it! We must innovate our evangelizing tools and youtube is a big one!

I'm not sure how that conclusion is reached. My point is professing Christians actively involved in the Christian community should be mindful their core audience & how they communicate their message & intent to others. Cussing is something Christians should avoid (Colossians 3:5-10) & when you have guys that up until this video have been clean re: language, its disheartening to many Christians to see this happen. Apologies if any "better than" message was conveyed.

I personally have never heard their testimonies but they've done a number of video's that show their Christian involvement, so one would expect them to continue to be funny but mindful of who they are and who they represent. I have shared past video's with Christian friends and this was pretty upsetting to me personally.
