The book was really good. Go to the Library and check it out.  It is very engaging. I hope the movie does it justice. They picked the right actors for the characters.

I saw this at a screening. mark ruffalo and phoenix were great. You really felt each of their characters' pain. Jennifer Connelly basically played the same role she always do: the suffering wife or girlfriend. I would like to see her stretched as an actor. Her best performance to date is Requiem for a Dream, then maybe Blood Diamond. Was Mira Sorvino's Oscar a fluke or is all of her best work behind her? Well Spike did get a performance out of her in Son of Sam. Spike, Mira needs you.

You forgot to mention Connelly's performance in the Beautiful Mind with Russel Crowe.She was perfect,you have to admit this!

I didn't care for A Beautiful Mind. It was an okay film, but nothing extraordinary. I liked her better in Pollock. As far as Crowe is concern, to me his best work was in 3:10 Yuma, Cinderella Man, Gladiator, L.A. Confidential, Romper Stomper and The Insider. Looking forward to seeing him in American Gangster with Denzel Washington.
