For all Call of Duty fags who think its a UMP.45, its NOT. It's and MP5K with a stock. They look similar because they are made by the same company. A .45 round would have much more recoil than that, and a UMP fires only 600rpm; that was more like 900. DURRRRRRRRRRRRR

The RPD is a 7.62x39mm soviet round, the standard service round for the soviet union and it is still used by many countries today. I suggest you stop basing your weapons knowledge off of call of duty and actually do your homework. I would consider learning the metric system of measurement as well.

I play call of duty MW2, and I have guns too ( S&W AR-15, and Glock 19 9mm). These kids don't understand the difference between a .45 and 9mm and why the mp5 has a higher rate of fire than the ump. These are the kids that know nothing, and would prefer full auto to 3 round burst in medium range engagement. If I gave them my AR-15 (M4 style) with 20 rounds and a mag, I bet they couldn't have it ready to fire in 30sec...

This is logical, considering the MP5K's fire rate is up around 900 RPM. Look closely at 0:36 seconds and 0:50 seconds. It becomes quite clear that this very short weapon could not be a UMP of any sort. Even the characteristic MP5K finger guard is visible in front of the foregrip.

For the record, the HK MP5, is the full sized sub-gun with full fixed or folding stock and an 8.85 inch barrel. OAL 26.77 inch

The MP5K (K for Kurz) is the stockless pistol variant with 4.5 inch barrel designed for concealed carry. OAL 12.67 inch
