Well, it isnt, it is a great, smart, honest and profound movie, and you`ll laugh your ass off, trust me. I think it is Smith's best, with Clerks and Dogma in 2nd place. Chasing Amy is pretty much an unmissable classic of 90s american indie cinema. Watch it, and let me know what you think. You may even dislike it, but it certainly isnt as bad as the trailer

This movie probably has the most heart in it than any other Kevin Smith movie. It's not the most hilarious, it's not really that serious, but it has heart......personally, I rarely cry at these "rom-com" movies, and this is one of the rare ones that made me tear up at the end.
