  • the fucking taler bite you off every fucking time i use one of those lures

  • I cought plenty of bream on that puppy in a comp last weekend, they picked it up off the bottom nearly everytime. Only got a mid 2kg bag

The colour makes a big difference.

Trout like them slow rolled with a few pauses (in dams), similar to one technique used for Bass.

Dont know about yellas, I use jackals and SB's for them.

  • Hey BCF firstly great video and thanks for posting it. I must say these vibes are far and away my favourite lure now, cleaned up on heaps of Reddies the other day on these after lossing the last of my baltic bobbers I was shocked at how well they work. Do you have any advice on how to jig these correctly and how you would target other freshwater species like golden perch and trout etc, are they effective on these freshwater species. Thanks Tai

  • good video,im a successful soft plastics fisherman but have struggled/never caught a fish with a blade, and probably given them 500 casts around all types of environments.Your video has shown me why,I have always had an agressive approach to the lift and therefore scaring the fish or removing it from the strikezone,Next time im on the clarence i will definately lighten up on my retrieve.Thanx.

  • gday justin , nice vid , i just wanted to no if its possible to catch bream and jewies LAND BASED with these tt swtichblades i never tried them but i would like to giv em ago what do ya recon??

  • @BigR000 Hey Big R000, you can fish the blades landbased. Great for flathead just lift the rod tip 60cm, let the lure fall to the bottom, lift again and continue the retrieve. Slower smaller hops for bream, or alternatively just allow the lure to sink to the bottom, or count it down to the desired depth and slow wind it back for a wide range of freshwater or saltwater species. Swim it back just above rocks or snaggy bottom to avoid snags and attract fish. Cheers, Justin.

  • Hey BCF, I really like these blades, I caught a couple of fish on them so far, but one question and this has been confusing me, are these suppsed to vibrate when you twitch them? some tell me yes some tell me no...I see in the video he mentions small twitches but nothing was mentioned about the vibration.

  • @chopzmasta07 Hey chopzmasta07, a short twitch, or lift of the rod tip of 4 to 6 inches is enough to get them to vibrate. You should feel the vibration through the rod, especially when using braid. Some anglers have had success on bream by just leaving them on the bottom when fishing mussell beds & giving a tiny twitch every now & then to attract the attention of the fish. Bream are opportunistic feeders, as are many species & many strikes will come as the lure sits still on the bottom. Cheers J

  • @bcfaustralia Thanks, next time I go out I'll try that, although today I just kept hopping them along the bottom with very small vibrations and I caught a couple of flathead. I use the strike Pro vibes and the TT vibes and both work really well.

  • i just came back from bcf today and i got the golden noggin and the golden boy both for $20 save $10 hurry to your local bcf shop everyone

  • @ak74u2 Hey ak74u2, cracker colour choices, those 2 are definitely favourites. Try long casts over the flats with a lift and then wind up the slack as you drop the rod tip, really effective. Otherwise those small lifts and hops around structure. Hope you find a few fish.

    Cheers, Justin

  • @bcfaustralia hey Justin,

thanks you for the advise also does your rod matter when fishing with these?

    cheersm, oguzhan

  • @ak74u2 Hey oguzhan, I like to use a light graphite rod about 7 foot in length. Graphite increases sensitivity and transfers vibration much better giving you more feel when it comes to what your lure is doing, along with increased bite detection. There are some great rods out there such as the Shimano T Curve and Raider, Daiwa Redback and Triforce or Gary Howard Envy, all of which are well worth the money. Combine this with some light braid and fluoro leader and buckle up!! Cheers, Justin

  • Have you ever used these on fresh water trout? Or salmon? I am launching a range in New Zealand and we have had great success with them on trout. Have you also trolled them?

  • @kirstyhill1 Hey kirstyhill1, I personally haven't tried them on the trout or salmon but they went well on the Redfin in the freshwater (Canberra) and are dynamite on a range of saltwater species including bream, flathead and mulloway. Maybe someone out there has tried them on trout and could comment here. Hope you are catching a few. Cheers, Justin.

  • hey BCF,

just came from fishing from balmain in sydney and had no luck with the tt switchblade lure :( is it me or theres no fish i done everthing u done the lift and drop thingy and twitches to the rod no luck :( OHH ONE THING WHEN I WAS FISHING WITH MY BAIT CASTER A PENGUIN WAS FISHING NEAR MY LINE I SWEAR!!

  • what colour did u use?

  • @ak74u2 Hey ak74u2, there are a great range of fish catching colours available and they all work. The guys do especially well on the golds, like gold noggin' and golden boy, so this would be a good starting point. Cheers, Justin BCF

Some good tips thrown in 2. Thanks Diz.

  • these are great but get the strike pro cyberblades, they are cheaper and for me, work better.

  • hey guys how much r these blades going for

  • They are pretty well priced in terms of the blade market...under the $15 mark at the time of writing. You can now also get a 1/2 ounce model that is awesome for bass, flathead and other medium size species. Keep an eye out for the new TT Lures Ghost Blades coming soon...I can't wait!!

  • best blades!

  • Great Videos guys!

Just wondering if anyone knows if these work just as well as they do in the video in freshwater, specifically for Redfin?

  • nice video...

what ounce switch blade are you using?

  • Hey 19fish95, these fish were taken on the 1/8th Switchblade. Hope you are finding a few. Cheers, Justin
