Pretty cool, but there was no light from the fire, and the glass was not distributed evenly. Larger pellets go further, smaller pellets should be scattered around the car. And the pellets aren't getting smaller in perspective either, which looks wierd, and they're being sprayed in front of the right front wheel, when there is no window to deposit them there.

Just minor gripes.

Here's some things that can be improved.

1. Would that really be your reaction if a car just blew up right in front of you?

2. There was no change to the environment. Fire produces light. Remember?

3. Camera shake works wonders with explosions if the car won't move.

Even so.. This is the best one I can find on youtube so far..

superb :) , like others said add camera shake and a bit of an adjustment layer to make colours better ... also the glass use time remapping to keep it on the ground :)

you could add some lighting around the car to simulate the explosion because fire makes light

and you could maybe shake the car because something exploding won't stand still

not to bad on that one, fire needs smoke on this one, and a bit tall like the other guy said plus a cam shake would of really did a good job on this one at explosion, and of coarse shaking the car as well, but you could of got away with no car shake by doing a nice came shake, great acting :-)
