bs 1 puffer only needs to have 20-30 gallons. wen they are little then can servive perfectly fine in 140 gallons

@nafaka12 yes but like after 2 or 3 months later u should start adding some salt to the puffer they are better in salt or brackish water :)

you may want to keep a lid on them puffers they are natoreuse for niping at fins and jumping

they are brackish water... they can live in fresh for a while but eventually if not transfered to proper brackish water they will suffer and die

the puffers need a little bit of salt, so they are considered brackish water fish

but i heard that after a while when people keep them in freshwater they lose thier color and eventually die.........

They can live in freshwater when they're young but have to move to a high-end brackish or full marine environment as they mature. Mine lives in a marine tank and he's very happy :)

ok...gsp's are brackish and goldfish plainly arent....so how are they together?

they are comet feeder fish, they are quite hardy fish lol.
