Students don't need encouragement they need better schools and more opportunity's. Real opportunity's, not a cycle of paying and aquiring debt, and working for someone else. This system now is not opportunity, it's indentured servitude. END THE FED!!

i am loving this speach. I am confused why people pulled thier kids out of school for watching it at school. Its not like he told the kids " go home and tell your parents to vote on THIS TOPIC" WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? This speech was great for the audience he had and honestly, it was good to tell kids that you aren't gonna do well the FIRST TIME OUT. cos not everybody does!
Because those people have schizophrenia and show some of the syptoms which are emotional blunting, intellectual deterioration, social isolation, disorganized speech and behavior, delusions, and hallucinations
A really down to earth speech. He spoke to those kids like young adults.. not kids, are children. Like the future leaders of our country. I am 24 years old and felt inspired by that.
How anyone can seriously object or find fault with this message to students is beyond me. Shame on those that abused their children by not allowing them to see and hear this message.
I agree with you. I see nothing wrong with the message he's sending the students. he's pretty much giving them the encouragement they need, with drop out rates so high. I think some people were just being ignorant.
