  • MUCH BEER.

  • the world would be a better place whitout christianism cult.NO GOD

  • SLAYER!!!!!!

  • @swbf2CALzoNE Get the fuck out of here with that shit. This is Tyr, not Slayer.

  • @Blasphemouscody666 I know, Slayer is just a nice band and i wanted to say that :)

  • @swbf2CALzoNE I know i'm just playin'. XD

  • Hail to tyr !!!

  • i wanna try valkirian sex ;)

  • @STPWORKLETSBOXE lol that womans are very huge

  • i have no life and old lore is my life

  • no only one of the old gods shall remain with the two mortals and the three of them shall remain clinging to the branches of ygddrasil to start the world anew. and the old god shall remain among them until it is deemed a time he is no longer needed on midgard. read the prossedda (a 1600 copy not a 1999 copy genius

    )

  • I knew the word Ragnarok from Final Fantasy xD

  • Everytime I hear 6:10 10 6:33 I get an image of Baldur in a parody-scene of the ending of "Dead Like Me." Staring up at the sky, looking at the "dragon," seeing it's feathers come down, and just saying, "I'm so fucked..." Cause now HE has to deal with all this ruling the world shit just like his father, Odin, before him! And we all saw how "easy" that was. :P

  • Olaf

  • Years of playing Age of Mythology allows me to recognise words like "Tyr" "Ragnarok" and "valhalla".

  • @luclfersangel616 What about Jormungandr?

  • @luclfersangel616 Years Playing Ragnarok makes me recognise every word of the Nordic Mytology.

  • booty booty booty rocking everywhere

  • It's pretty sad, really... when I read the stories of Norse mythology, I think everyone was a victim, really. Everyone had some part in it, whether directly or indirect. In the end, everyone lost everything. No one was the bad guy. They were all just victims of their own fates. :/

May the Norse gods forever reign in glory!

  • @star3catcherSEQUEL But after Ragnarok Baldur and Ash are reborn. Even the end is a new beginning.

  • @Shadowdancer21b I know, and that's the happy part about it. I just kind of don't like when people fight about whose "fault" Ragnarok was. I think they all had some part in it.

  • @star3catcherSEQUEL I agree.

  • @star3catcherSEQUEL Yep.. Reading about Ragnarok is a sad story really :o Seeing all the great Gods fall! Its pretty amazing really.. Although i always forget where the Gods like Odin and Freyr go after they are killed. Don't they go to Helheim?

  • @tokorev747777 Presumably... but it's never really said where the souls of the Gods go after Ragnarok. Baldur and Hodur come out of Helheim and are reborn, and I guess it's arguable about whether or not Hela, the death goddess, actually COULD die, and might be housing the Gods in her land...

I'm sure there are many theories about it. But there's really no generally agreed upon answer.

  • @star3catcherSEQUEL Agreed cause i never really knew either. I thought the gods like Freyr went to Helheim too though. I really don't know either.

  • @tokorev747777 The fallen gods and warriors that fall in Ragnarok die for real, they go the the golden hall "Sindri" wich is not connected to the worlds we know of, Helheim will along with the other worlds be utterly destroyed so they can not go there, but from the ashes of the old world the new world rises, 2 humans survive and the remaining gods will help them build a new world.

but yeah, Odin, Thor, Frey, Freya will go to the golden hall Sindri

    so there you go :P

  • @smashbar333 Thats what i thought! Thanks! And by the way Freya lives ;)

  • @tokorev747777 ah yes... sorry for that mistake, i was think of Frey, her brother :P

  • @smashbar333 Nah it's no problem! We all make mistakes :) Especially when it comes to a Mythology where there is barely anything known about it!

  • @smashbar333

sindri ? sindri is the smith wich build Thors sword.

(yeah indeed he had a sword and a hammer)

    sindri means "the spark maker"

  • @DerErwecker it is a dwarf in voluspå, but in fylvaginningen it is also a hall

  • @DerErwecker so it is a dwarf and also a hall in 2 different sources, i digress the hall "sindri" might as well be a "christian" hall but it might have some source of truth in it, i would not just randomly say it if i did not know what i was talking about

  • Have to work on a presentatiion about ragnarok...really helpfull ;D

  • THIS. SONG. AHHHH! SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

  • Lol, why do i always read ragnarok. I think it is Ragnarök o0

  • @Hitman18396 Spelled the same way. It's just not too many people know how to make an accented o with their keyboards. XD Both are considered accurate spellings.

  • just beautiful.

  • one of the best bands that you will see live. Period.

  • Damn that Valkyrie has a great ass!

  • @steverid Fight well, and you will get it to :)

  • Ragnarok and roll!!!

  • Comment removed

  • What is the name of the picture or the artist in the video?

  • @Victorsded The first one that is.

  • Baldr and host + 2 humans who survived Ragnarök will be the first beings. Btw Ragnarök (end ) Ragnarøk (beginning)

  • not ALL gods died in ragnarök like TYR survived and BALDUR, oden got eaten by fenris And vidar killed fenris by breaking the wolfs jaws thor was killed by the midgard serpants venom but thor smashed the serpants skull. Heimdall was killed by lokis sper but heimdall cut lokis head off after he got the sper throuh him.Ffrej stuck a deer horn in the fire demon Sorts eye the fire demon cut the god in half with his fire sword .

and the world was flooded by water after the battle Baldur and Tyr was s

  • @doomslayer12able That's wrong dude, Tyr got killed in battle with Garmr the hound of Hel and Baldr got killed by his brother Hodr pre Ragnarök. And Freyr killed the giant Beli with a deer horn and Surtr killed him later on and then destroyed the world with his flame sword.

  • @lordnarbas Surtr enflamed the earth, not truley destroying it. You must remember the Fimbulvinter, Surtr's sword most certainly would have destroyed earth, if not for the mighty winter. Just so you should know. As an Asatru, i approve of your already obtained knowledge.

  • @1LoneViking I have been studying the Norse mythology for quite some time now and I have read both the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda in it's original language (As an Icelander I understand Old Norse). It is true, Surtr enflamed the world and nearly destroyed it. The only things that survived were two humans (Líf and Lífthrasr) and the World tree Askr Yggdrasill.

  • @lordnarbas I have also read both Eddas, my family traces back to the first vikings to venture into North America with Leif Eriksson, hence my American Indian in me. i have almost every Northern ethnicity in me. Swedish, German, Norwegian, Dutch, you name it. Some Gods also survived, and not noted in the eddas, but believed, some others too, the people went to 2 good places, Valhalla, and i forget the name of the other, but all the good people worthy go there with the goddesses, mainly children

  • @1LoneViking Possibly Folkvangr & Niflheim?

  • @lordnarbas so i m not the only one in the world how can read the old epics the way they were wrote.

ps im form America but i m proud of my European background

  • @lordnarbas it is good by the way to see that not only people from the Norse countries have such deep knowledge in The Norse Mythology, so I salute you brother Viking...

  • The music on this Týr's album makes me a bit sad... I like the northern Gods in their mythology, it's bad they can just die and become forgotten. Dying in Ragnarök or not, I'll always have them in mind! :)

  • ALU ALU ALU. TOLL

  • Have two of these opened at the same time... the chours sounds SICK with the skightly delayed over dub.

  • For those who do not know the language is Faroese. Coolest language ever. <---Faroese

  • I love this song! :D

  • At first I thought "Wth it's Tristram theme from Diablo." Both are awesome.

  • At the end, when it's all over, Baldur will return to life, and so will Ash, the first man. Nothing ever really ends.

  • @ Hakon many thanks for showing songs from our way.Tyr is not the easiest to find. May the Alfather watch over you.

  • whore or not look that ASS :D

  • BEST FUCKING SOLO EVER! CAPS! xD

  • Technically Valkyries were neither whores nor warriors. Their name translates to "Chooser of the Slain", they decided who would die in the battles and who were worthy of being taken to Asgaard.

  • I love this song! It's amazing! Can anyone give me a translation of the first few stanzas though?

  • jeg tror lige at jeg skriver SVARTSOT i søgefeltet igen, der sker da lidt mere med musikken

  • May Heimdalr watch over all who listen to Tyr

  • i like it its a good song i will listen it by the end of the time

  • Wow, I hate youtube for the fact that I can't listen to a song without the comment box being filled with conversation about religon. Yuck....

  • @KrazyKazooie It's a religious song, of course it's going to have religious comments, silly.

  • @KrazyKazooie If you don't like the fact that most Viking metal music is religion related then you shouldn't be listening to it because of course the vids start discussions

  • @htie96 It's called instruments, enjoy them. Anyways stfu and on another note

That's just like your opinion man. :dealwithit:

  • @KrazyKazooie Well only some of tyr's songs are instrumentals the majority of it is Norse folk metal/ rock.

  • @htie96 As if I didn't know they were obsessed with vikings. >_>

  • pizza!!!!

  • @useralx4185 Smartest comment on this vid ever!

  • @useralx4185 lecker!!!!!

  • @useralx4185 I love pizza!

  • i wish i could have an hand painted art work with this image in the wall of my house!!! this image is amazing and give special inspiration! ^^

  • @ AaVRo wexact the same "experience" genial

  • BE PURGED BY MY FIRES!

  • No, I'm not joking about Christians slaughtering Vikings because they wouldn't convert. It happened, and it's a tragedy that it did because it was truly a godless act. I even understand why practitioners of Asatru responded just the same as the Christians did with killing Christians. But, I enjoy the music of the group. I'm glad that they're keeping the sagas alive and interesting for a new generation.

  • i am 136,000 viewer Great :D long live vikings :D

  • Actually the viking age can be argued to be a response to the predations of Charlemagne in the previous generations of the mid 8th century. All those refugees fleeing the germanic tribal lands, carrying tales of blood and conversion by the sword. With that as a prelude it'd only take a bigoted monk saying the wrong thing about filthy unbelievers deserving to be cheated to set off the powderkeg. Human nature hasn't changed all that much in centuries.

  • I like their artwork :D

  • @AaViRo I have had the same thing :) never liked tyr but now I just check it out and I get chill trought my skin every time :D

  • i see all the comments about religion...what does religion have to do with music...if the music is good it will transcend all boundaries and reach the people...it is the people and their thinking that screws the music...music is an international and galactic language...if u take the words away it is the music that will live on after no one is left to remember them

  • @Angelspeak13 Did I say that my religion is pure and innocent? I did not. :) Guess what: Yours claims it and still did such things like the crusades. Yours has lies, and yours possesses a false god. Ours is a religion bathed in the glory of battle, be it internal or external. As such, stop speaking about things you do not understand, shut your mouth and go back to worshipping a 'God' that doesn't exist except in your delusions my friend.

  • Thank you everyone for your honesty. I'm glad that most of us can respect each other's views & beliefs. In regards to all the death threats I've received, I'm honestly not afraid. I've stared death in the face many times & I've learned that the only reason people fear it is if they have major regrets left behind that they haven't dealt with. I've made mistakes, but I have no regrets. Besides, do you think that I'd just let someone strike me down w/out taking a stand & fighting back?

  • I like metal. I hate justin beiver

  • beautiful song, even though it makes me sad

  • @angelspeak13 We do live in these days, and appreciate your words. But what words can you speak to make up for the blood your religion has spilt? Truly, your god is false, for if you look over the world before the Christians tainted it, many religions shared similar thoughts, and how could they without the TRUE gods? I appreciate your sincerity, but, if I were capable, I would strike you down for my god and my beliefs. I apologize that you're gullible enough to believe in Christianity.

  • @Ogrimify Well, is your religion so innocent & pure? I know there have been times in history when practitioners of Asatru have slain Christians just for being Christians. I'm NOT saying that we're completely innocent of any wrongdoing. Like I said before, I know there's plenty of blood on our hands & that's truly a tragedy. But don't act like your religion is blameless. There's been enough blood spilt on both sides. Let's recognize that, forgive each other & seek to learn from one another.

  • @angelspeak13

the christians where the enemys, the intruders. So what ?!

  • @DerErwecker christians force there religion on other people, destroying cultures and generally just bein fuckin retarded pussies

  • @ wow the same happened to me! I listened to this song once, didn't like it and now I can't stop listening to it.

  • @AaViRo Thats exactly what happens to me right now. :)

  • Can somebody write to me all solos which Terji plays in Tyr songs ?

  • goood song :)

  • my name is Ragnar and its from the word ragnarök :)

  • @dumbasshit123 Sorry bud, but no. It's taken out it regin, wich was a old norse name before. And meant that you had lot's of gold. Ragnarök however is possible taken from the name Ragnar, as Ragnarök didn't got written anywhere before Snorre's ed write about it the year 1200

  • @JukkAMoviE yeah ok :) well its about from middle age my name I think

  • @AaViRo the same thing with me but it was with dimmu borgir. haha you could say satan pulled me back >:) hahaha its weird how music works the mind

  • boa música

  • to find the artwork enter this catchphrase into google "valkyrie ascending"

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, treat Valkyries decently. they were not whores, they were warriors.

  • @SuperMusicHero if you look closely, you'll see that she is taking a fallen soldier too odin, so that the fallen warrior can spend his days in valhalla till ragnarok is upon them. that was also the task of valkyries. =p

  • @MultiCyclops I know, but why this metal underwear? WTF is this?

  • @SuperMusicHero yeah good point, that's wrong, i totaly agree with you!!!!

  • @SuperMusicHero ARE warriors lol

  • @SeleucidEmperor I'm sorry, Ragnarok was a figured way to say that the viking gods would be forgotten, so, if it makes 1000 years since Asatruarianism came back to our lives, Ragnarök already hapenned D= So yeah, no valkyries...

  • @SuperMusicHero Warriors huh? They must have gotten pretty rough!

  • Where can I find the Valkyrie Artwork?

  • @Nytewarrior It means the apocalypse. In Pagan belief.

  • @Jogvan1000 twilight of the gods, to be exact. and not the apocalypse, there is life after it.

  • :)

  • @Einheri89 Ah. my bad.

  • Fucking Epic band love the sound. I would gladly slay some Christians with them

  • @vivisection001 lol?

  • @AaViRo its normal didnt like somethink diferent in the first time you listening =)

  • @ENCofficial pre 11th century, fine. in ardre, southeast gotland sweden there was a runestone from around year 750, today it is in the historical museum of stockholm, it tells the story of völund , the smith who crafts rings while waiting for his love, and also the most powerful sword that will be surt's weapon during ragnarok, some of us actually travel to read some of the 5000nd runestones in the world, and searching for odin alone wont get you far, you want to argue more? PM

  • i love the picture the song is played too!! Where did you find it

    Thanks for posting!!

  • @ENCofficial i do belive that i know my own history, true that frey, tyr , thor, odin and all the great ones die, but none of the female, and after ragnarok baldr and hödr is reborn, while vidar, mode and magne,

and for solid source? even in the eddas it says that some of the aesir survives, and bear in mind, this is something you learn from reading folklore, not watching tv or do you know what sword surt uses in ragnarok?

  • @AaViRo I know what you mean. I saw them live opening for Amon Amarth. I kind of got into it but I forgot to look them up when I got home. I stumbled across them and realized how awesome they are. Now, I'm disappointed that they're not headlining let alone, opening.

  • Tyr > Ares.

  • \m/

  • I slaughter puny christians to this music.

  • @DAVIE1488 No, you sit in your room and write stupid lies on great music videos like this to this music. Grow up kid

  • @OnyxBeastGuitar douche bag.

  • @DAVIE1488 I like the music, I also think you are gay.

  • @DAVIE1488 You just call me a douche bag 'cause you know I'm right.

  • @OnyxBeastGuitar the music is just dandy and you are still a douche bag and you know that I am correct when I say you are a peter puffing pipe hype.

  • @DAVIE1488 Whatever, cry baby

  • @OnyxBeastGuitar the music is gay just like your boyfriend

  • @ENCofficial then why does many of the aesir survive/revive after ragnarök? and why are there texts from before the catholic crusaders even set their foot in the north?

  • muy buena

  • I am a big fan of Tyr and I happen to be a Christian. I'm actually glad that they're doing what they're doing because they are keeping the cultural traditions of Asatru alive. I'm well aware of the blood that lies on Christian hands for "purifying" the souls of "heathens" during the Dark Ages. I'm happy that now we live in a day and age where different beliefs are tolerated & respected for the most part.

  • @angelspeak13

do u belive that adam and eva was the first himans or something ?

or that god created eart and mankind even the sientists have proved it was evoulution ?

thx if u answer cuz i dont know what it means by being a Christian =)

  • @angelspeak13 No offense but this is one of the first times, I've liked and respected something that came out of a Christian's mouth. I myself am a heathen, asatru, but respect others' beliefs. It's nice to know some respect ours.

  • @angelspeak13 Well said, I have no problems with christians who have mutual respect towards others. Its the "WE ARE THE ONE TRUE PEOPLE OF THE LORD. YOU ARE FALSE. FAKE. YOU ARE NOT RIGHT." that get me riled like no tomorrow.

  • @GRAFFDEMON Those kind of people are long gone..I hope, for the sake of everyone :P

  • @zzenne Nopes, plenty still about.

  • @angelspeak13 I like it because it reminds me of where my ancestors come from and how they used to worship.

  • @angelspeak13 blame it all on the catholics mate, it always happens to be them at the end... intolerance = catholics :P

  • @angelspeak13 I belive in Asatro, that is one of the greatest religion there is. For me i dont care if you are a christian, but some of my friends like to eat them :/. Swedish and icelandic Asatro is the realest deal.

  • @angelspeak13 I cannot tolerate the ignorance of christianity, if this was the dark ages I would hunt every single one of you down and spill your blood.

  • @ika6667 that's not the solution... I'm in a christian place , and most christians where forced by there parents. In 2 to 3 generations christianity will be gone in quebec. I think poeple start to realize how stupid it is.

  • @angelspeak13 thank you your the first person i've heard from that agrees with me but i'm an Asatru

  • @angelspeak13 wait could you clarify a bit on the christians purifying vikings? what happened there?

  • @umbrakvey he means they killed the vikings because they refused to become christian ..thousands of them.

  • @angelspeak13 your jokeing right?

  • the gods will guide me

  • warning: this may be offensive to some people

why are youtube arguments and the special olympics similar? because if you win, you are still retarded

  • @rickmcdonalled It's not offensive. It's arbitrary and redundant.

  • 8secounds in wheres that pic from <3 it

  • Some random person missed the Like button.

  • @XviraTheUnholyOne someone followed him into doom

  • Das ist prima!

  • who's the idiot?

  • Hail Odin !!!!!!!!!!
