Great videos! Did you happen to get the new 'Friday The 13th' Box set? I already bought 1-8, individually (a few years ago), with the cool looking lenticular slipcases, but that damn hockey mask (that comes with the box set) is too tempting. This so rocks! The Orig Friday The 13th is a huge fave of mine. I''ve always been so facinated by the fact that it was filmed in NW NJ :) Prior to knowing that i thought it was filmed out in the midwest or something lol :) They sure fooled me :)

I had goosebumps watching this video, I couldn't even imagine how that felt to actually be there. I can't believe everything is still the same after 30 years! Friday Part 2 location can no longer make that claim since the new owners tore down all the original cabins in Connecticut (stupid people). I wish it was easier to get into that original location, I'd never leave. Fantastic video man, Thanks!

@dozer4444 Thats cool man, if you live that close you can see alot of the part 1 sites.. Theres the tunnel walk through where you first see Annie, Blairstown diner where Steve Christie was eating near the tunnel, also the Moavian cemetary when Enos dropped off Annie..Hope you see the sites man

I've been to these films since 2nd grade. Really wish I would have known it was filmed at an actual summer camp back then. Would have been much more fun to stay at that sleepaway camp than the mountain side jesus camp I attended haha!

@ccg1171 thanks for the 'heads up'.. Yeah, the guy on the phone sounded like a prick. It's hilarious bc the house from a Christmas Story in Cleveland has made the location what it should be.. Other famous locations are completely idiotic not to follow suit, as it could be a huge Cash Cow. A guy bought the Christmas Story house, and made the 2 other houses next to the house museums for the film. He's making a mint. The same could happen for this location. I will definitely do Blairstown.thx.

Awesome man! I'd really love to visit someday myself. But as I've read that is private property. You're lucky to get in there like you did. Would've been cool to check out the inside of the Cabins too. They've kept that place maintained pretty well. By the way...what kind of Camcorder are you using? That takes some pretty nice footage, very pristine looking. I'm only asking cause I'm fixing to buy me a camcorder soon. Is yours a mini DV Cam or is it a digital card reader cam?

That's cool! What a treat for you. It's funny my end of the year school party back in 8th grade was at Prairie Dell Park. That was one of the big settings for Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.
