  • I love this song ! I think every one of us is Rocky in some way. We all want our one shot with Creed to prove to ourselves what we could do.

  • "You see yourself doing right, and you do right!"

"Get up you son of a bitch, because mickey loves ya!"

  • Amazing piece of music, tears everywhere

  • this song makes me a reminder of my 7th grade year and how my sister just left us for college this music is so sad they should put this in the death of littlefoots mother from the land before time.

  • i love trhis song

  • Lovely French horn, strings, and piano...Conti is very overrated, ironically, due to "Gonna Fly Now." He's done so much more than that, as shown here.

  • THIS SONG WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF ME...

I GREW UP WITH AN ABUSIVE STEP-FATHER, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF SYLVESTER STALLONE'S MOTION PICTURES IS VERY DEAR TO MY HEART...

THAT MAN IS ONE OF THE MOST PROLIFIC HUMAN BEINGS IN HUMAN EXISTENCE... WHEN I READ AN ARTICLE IN 1997 ABOUT HIM HAVING A HARD TIME BEING TAKEN SERIOUS AS AN ACTOR, THEN GAINING WEIGHT TO PLAY A FAT COP IN COPLAND... HE BECAME MORE THAN JUST AN ACTOR TO ME... THE MAN IS BEYOND PAIN... STALLONE... # 1... AND BRUCE LEE...

    PEACE

  • @leoisjustchillin037 Brian Orlotti and Sean Bromley need to hear that.

  • @leoisjustchillin037 I hear you on that!

  • If u cry or beeing toched of this ,well then you really are a rocky fan

  • Memories...While you're walking down the long road to death you can always hear this and every other Rocky song in your ears at once...

  • my eyes water up when i listen to this. idc about sayin that and worrying about being criticized. music is a big part of my life, and the music that played during this scene, it just hits u all at once, you know?

  • @Blaze264 I know what you're saying, same man.

  • I remember wathcing this movie alone when i was 11.. When Mickey died i cried.. That really touched me back then ^^

  • apart from the brilliance in this haunting piece of music, in the film i cant stand it when he's in the locker room and shouting in to mickey's chest as he dies ...............

  • this song reminds me of all the relatives they arent here today i think of this song WHO IS WITH ME

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

    R.I.P. Burgess Meredith,November 16,1907 – September 9,1997 :(

Absolutely beautiful tune, I LOVE Rocky!!

  • I am now 33 years old and this is still the only movie that I've cried for. Stupendous and very emotional. Ridiculously brilliant music!

  • "Get up you son of a bitch! Cause' Mickey loves ya!"

  • Mickey....

"Get up son of a bitch! Mickey love you!"

  • @dizzlander Volledig mee eens. Bill Conti is een genie.

  • first saw number 3 when i was about 9. cried like fuck when mick died! must have seen these movies hundreds of times! does anybody els actually end up out of their seat during the drago fight, or is it just me?

  • Diablo man! That song even broke me down and I don't break down that easily!!!!!!!!!!

  • T_T

  • T_T

  • I NEED YOU MICCKKK !!!

  • I know, it still draws tears to my eyes. It's so emotional, even the part where Rocky is on his motorcycle, staring at his statue, thinking he's a failure, and throws his helmet. :( I love Rocky 1,2,3, and 6 soooooo much!

  • This music...I can hear the emotion at the end. It is like you have some negative happens, then your instant reaction is fierce. Then you give in and let go. If you can hear it at the end. The whole music piece is a masterpiece. The music sounds like certain emotions at certain parts and contantly flows from one emotion to another...wow.

  • @ForestKid408 and the final piece ends as all negatives that happened pass by like a memory.....am i wrong?

  • @alexis1981volos I would have to guess not if thats what u feel from it.

  • There wasn't a dry eye!!! A pure classic!

  • Talia Shire/Adrian looked her best in Rocky III and Rocky IV.

  • 4 people got beat by mickey in the ring

  • i also want this song to be my funeral song. it just deep meaning.

  • The best part is from 0:00 to 4:40

  • Signore e signori ed ecco a voi la voce del "Corno" che arriva a sfiorare le stelle.

  • A classic! God Bless Mickey!

  • The 4 people who put not like they were so excited about the song that his hands trembled and could not properly tighten the click

  • This scene hurts on rocky, rip mickey.

  • ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY !!!!!!

  • 4 guys have no ears.i feel sorry for them. conti-rocky for ever in our hearts!! epic!!!!!!!!

  • this makes me cry....so cool....

  • Ever time i see that scene in the moive it always reminds me of my Grandad who was alot like Mickey, and have i felt when i lost him.

  • but if i remember right they played this when adrain was in a coma in rocky 2

  • To Sandy - God rest your soul; you were my Mick, one of the best friends a man could ever have...and every time I find myself alone gazing into the heavenly beauty of a brisk evening sunset, just like Rock did on that bridge, this extraordinary piece is playing in my mind as I remember you...I miss you so much; I will treasure your memory and savor the wonderful times and laughs we shared for all the days of my life..

  • ImO this is one of the very few scenes were a real man is allowed to shed a Tear. Mickey's Death hit me so hard back when i first saw this.

what bambi is for kids is this for a grown up Man.

  • @OropherThranduil I agree with you.

  • @OropherThranduil im a kid and it hit me to

  • @OropherThranduil That bit of "a real man is allowed to shed a tear" is garbage. Men DO cry.

  • @JuanSabini

yeah, modern metrosexual pussys cry while watching sex and the city.

  • @OropherThranduil I don't know about metrosexual pussys. You seemingly do. On the other hand, men cry. It's more manly to be true and show yourself than hiding in stereotypes.

  • :'( :'( that is the saddest music score ever

  • i wish i had someone like mickey ther for me....Lifes bullshit and this music makes me realize it...sorry if it sounded depressing XD

  • Still loving this song! A pure classic of the 80's!!! Love the scene. My heart breaks everytime I see this scene! Carry On!!!

  • Yes i have to get up and fight.

    Because Mikey loves me

  • @loinebitable1

Wouldn't you just LOVE it if Sylvester Stallone held you in his arms, with a tight, firm grip ??? Then he gently wipes the tears from your eyes, and kisses you ???

I bet you would rub your nails against his upper neck stubble :)

  • Gets me everytime

  • @Leerk

    yup,same.

  • the scene where Rocky cries when Mick dies seems one of the saddest scenes ever of all time! I cried each and every moment when that scene plus the song gets in moment it's like somewhat a family member, friend, loved one, etc. you know you have lost and missed, time is you got to stand on your own two feet.

  • when rocky screams NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! i cried and i still cant last i mean its like if rocky lost his best fater figure and his mentor and than he doesnt know what to do or if hes prepared..very solid movie i loves these movies!! GO ROCKY!

  • i think of this every time im sad :')

  • A pure classic!!! There wasn't a dry 'eye'. What a travesty!!! God Bless Mick and Rock!!! and of course. . Bill Conti!!! Thanks for sharing this beautiful song! Carry On!!

  • Rocky: MICK...MICK... DON'T GO PLEASE!

  • The fact that he was just a bum from a local town who had achieved nufing in life, now that the spotlight was on him, he would just be pleased with 'going the distance', which he did.

  • I would like to have this music at my funeral...

  • @TheOptimus17Prime

Oh shit... That was deep, dude.... God Bless You...

    PEACE

  • ..i wish i had choac like mickey..RIP

  • Get up,you son of a bitch!!

    Mickey love you!!

  • A classic!!!

  • tres belle musique du film jadore

  • I am ignorant in music. Is the "tune" (i dunno the technical term) the same as "Gonna Fly Now"? I mean the same song played differently?

  • @21kazama And the reason why the reporters wanted Rocky's attention is because Rocky did 2 things no other boxer has been able to do: knock Creed down (and he knocked him down in the first round, mind you) and last the full 15 rounds. (2 of 2)

  • @21kazama The fight scene was needed because it is part of the tool in the story that helps the audience to see how much Rocky loved Adrian. There he was after the fight, being the focus of a media circus, with cameras and reporters surrounding him and trying to get his attention, and the only thing he cares about is finding Adrian. She finally makes her way to him, and for the first time the two of them tell each other they love each other. (1 of 2)

  • @21kazama And besides, the story of the movie isn't about boxing. It's about the relationship between Rocky and Adrian. Boxing was just an element used to tell the story. He could've been a wrestler, ball player, race car driver, jockey, it wouldn't have mattered. The main focus of the story (and, really, the saga as a whole) is the love story among the two of them. (2 of 2)

  • @21kazama Ok, at this point I'm not going to say you don't get the movie because nobody can be that dense. And you're grasping at straws in your attempt to troll. You'll have more success at trolling if you went to a Star Trek video and said the Millennium Falcon could destroy the Enterprise. In the movie, Rocky's goal was NOT to win (he KNEW he couldn't). His goal was to do something no other fighter has been able to do: last the full 15 rounds. He achieved his goal. (1 of 2)

  • 2:05 is probably the start of my favorite part of this.

  • @21kazama Then you either never saw the movie or you didn't pay attention or you just didn't get it. From the movie: ROCKY: "It really don't matter if I lose this fight. It really don't matter if this guy opens my head either. Cos all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed. And if I can go that distance and that bell rings and I'm still standin' I'm gonna know for

the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum

    from the neighborhood."

  • @21kazama In the first Rocky, Rocky didn't care if he won or lost. He just wanted to last the full 15 rounds because nobody has ever done that against Creed before. And he did last the full 15 rounds, that's what makes him a winner in the first movie.

  • A classic!!! I love this song!!

  • @21kazama

oh believe me im not haha

  • @21kazama

lol, dude i cant believe you keep going to rocky videos just to leave hate comments, thats sad lmao

  • @21kazama shut rocky became a champian in the rest of his films

  • true

  • @21kazama YES HE DID HE BECAME THE HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPEIN

  • @21kazama SHUT UP

  • @21kazama alright

  • @21kazama dont like what ur saying m8, but its true... train like rocko did in real life and ur fucked, im evidence of this... fantastic film about belief tho...

  • @21kazama Then How did rocky become the heavy weight champion

  • @21kazama why?

  • R.I.P. John Wooden

  • классно!

  • this song reminds me of my father. and it gets me emotional

  • why is bill conti's music so under rated better than mozart i say

  • rocky 1 and rocky2 my first vhs

  • For some reason, there is something about Rocky that makes him so easy to identify with that - when he is kneeling next to his dead coach and friend, and disbelievingly cries out with a broken voice: MICK!!! - you feel yourself trying to hold back the flood of tears that he cannot contain himself.

  • i dont like dis......................i LOVE it

  • 4 humans in this wide earth have a heart of stone... or maybe they're def lol.

  • this storyline (rocky 3) in some ways was kind of like the real life Mike Tyson story...and his "mickey" Cus Damato....who passed soon after Tyson became champ....sadly Tyson lacked a real life "Adrian" or even a "Apollo" to give him a personal and professional compass on how to stay a good champion.

  • trop beau et triste à la foi j'adore.ikki

  • Thank you very much for upload this song, i love it...

Long life to Mickey and Rocky

  • I AlMoSt Cry........ Thanks man.... I love it...

  • Very sad and toching but will flow to the wonderful. My Father recently died and that he played at the funeral. Listen to this song are printed tears to your eyes. Thank you Bill Conti, beutiful song!

  • this was one of the sadest scenes in a movie i ever watched. when he was crying over his body...that still makes me sad even though ive seen it thousands of times. that was like his father and he had to lie to him about winning cuz he didnt have the heart to tell him he lost. one of the most memoriable and underrated scenes in the rocky saga!!! i love the rocky movies and bill conti was a freaking genius

  • @grnguy8434 He truly is a genius when it comes to sports films. The Rocky franchises are truly great even by reading the books they are even better.

  • This really makes you think about yourself. This should truly inspire everyone. When I heard this, I thought about my life. GO Rocky GO Mickey

  • drop some tears

  • Beautiful piece

  • go thru him run over him!!!!:,)

  • With all due respect to "Gonna fly now" this is by far the best track from all of Rockey soundtracks. Just a beautiful and emotional piece of music.

  • Excelente cancion me hace llorar desde que comienza hasta que acaba, sin palabras

  • its always good to hear people say good comments about a melody like this it reveals the soft and loving heart of man no matter of colour or orgin we are brothers and its courage of the free spirit that lifts a fallen man. salam.

  • i want this to be my funeral song

  • I gotta work harder

  • If you watched rocky and you can put yourself into his shoes , and i don´t mean in his boxing shoes, i think you can feel something that teaches you something about life.

In my opinion one of the most inspirational movie pack , it teaches so much.

You just gotta love Sly he made this touching movies.

  • "GET UP YOU , SON OF A BITCH ! Cus Mickey loves ya ! "
