thanks man this seriously saved me from having to burn everything to disks, and you know how long that would of taken..Damn never trusting file sharing programs like frost wire again.That shit robbed my pc of all my content cause of 1 dumbass update. glad i found this video thanks again. *P.S.* you might have to change the folder now copied onto your computer to not hidden so that you can put the music onto your itunes. To do this you right click on the folder, and select properties. from there unselect "hidden" and it should work.

To clear up some problems: if you have vista (like me) to see hidden folders go to the control pannel and click "folder options." then follow his directions.

If your computer doesnt show your ipod, first you open plug your ipod into itunes. then when your ipod pops up, go to it and click "enable disc use" and hit apply. Then disconnect and connect your ipod again. This will, instead of opening it in itunes, it will open the folders, and you can follow his instructions from there.

This is the best video I have seen because you tell how to keep my ipod from automatically syncing with the "Edit" then "Preferences" tabs. I tried everything and it kept automatically syncing. Thank you.  Now, I did everything you showed but when I go to play a song in itunes I get this message "The song "Sweet Emotion" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" What do I do besides opening each one individually?

don't need to deal with itunes. Just plug ur ipod in, go to My Computer, then right-click ipod thing and explore, then you do the tools and folder options.

thats not a BAD idea, it still needs the assistance of itunes though to be able to use the i pod, i was more in to using the ipod just like another hard drive without them nobheads (apple) getting in the way.
