  • yay a roland jx-3p also. does anyone have a pg-200?

  • I bought mine CS5 back in 1983, Sounds like youre SC5 its out of tune... Great deno though

  • Whats the difference between the cs 5 and 10??

  • the CS 10 has got a CV/Gate and a slider for the portomento.

  • The CS-5 got CV/Gate too!

The CS-10 got adjustable pulse width (manual pwm) and one envelope more.

  • I was a professional musician and played on the road for about 10 years. I had a 2 or 3 piece band and I used a 1979 CS5 for laaft hand bass. What amonster. The thing goes down to a 64' stop...that is about 2 octaves below the range ofa bass guitar. It really thumps.

  • Nice!! Also happy to see a JX-3P close by :)

  • man.. they sure nailed subtractive synthesis, and to think they pioneered digital synthesis .. i'm thinking i need some yamaha in my room ..

  • @PHAEDRIDER Don't forget about ensoniq (esq-1/sq80 ) and korg (dw/ex/dss-1 line)

  • the cs-5 is a wicked synth. have a listen to the track on my profile I made just with a cs-5

  • I put my one through a Zoom phaser, and you get same realy good Billie Currie, fat lead rifs,a little bit or portamento, and some PWM,and it will screem just like a Odyssey but much cheeper and allmost bulit proof.

  • is that pure Yamaha? or is it run through something?

  • I think it's going through a dan electro spring reverb...

  • awesome i have that synth - dark!
