Coldplay has changed a lot in their 2 last albums, X&Y was reaaaaaally different with a slight techno sound and Viva La Vida, well, it has that sound.

I like all their albums, even X&Y (which lots of ppl hate), and one of the things I most admire about Coldplay is that they don't give a f*** about reviews and ppl, they just make their music the way they like it

people that became fans of coldplay for the new stuff really have no idea what they are missing with the old stuff like this. parachutes is my favorite album of all time, and it always puts me in a great mood.

yeah, I think parachutes is their album. I think their latest album has some really good stuff on it as well and I look forward to see what they do next. I think they're back on the right track after X&Y.

i overplayed it back when Parachutes came out but come back to it from time to time. this song is so mellow it kicks 8ss... they're one of my all time fav bands.

@dmbd I know, I don't know if I should feel sad or depressed, I heard he got down of the stage or something like that and started running around the crowd, after the concert I passed through there and there were thousands of paper butterflies on the floor. I wish I'd seen it, any chances of a retour or a new tour in the near future? I think I heard or read they were working on new material

@MehdiGlz yes it supose to come out on december..so it wont be that long for the next tour...well at least for u...im in latinamerica we're always the last place the play...i saw them like 2 months ago, so i'll see them again in like 3 years =(...i hope u get better luck with that and be able to watch them sooner =) totally worth it ;)

@MehdiGlz hey yo tambien soy mexicana =) fui al de guadalajara de hecho(me toco la de parachutes=D). pues yo decia como el de viva lo sacaron en 2008 y se presentaron en 2010 pero pues todavia falta mas de medio año para que salga, pero si yo creo tienes razon y los podremos ver por aca en unos 2 años =D!! y ahora si no te lo puedes perder!!! ;D

@MehdiGlz no pues nomas toco shiver (acustica y en medio del estadio =O) la cual nomas tocaron en latinoamerica, obiamente yellow (with big yellow ballons (toque uno=D) y la gran sorpresa de la noche tocaron la cancion "parachutes"!!!! la cual rara vez a sido tocada en vivo, de hecho en la pagina de coldplay subieron el audio de la cancion y por aqui anda un video pero casi no c alcanza a ver. c' nota q fue improvisada la tocada. entonses nos veremos en 2 años en gdl para el next tour ;D

You can't beat parachutes, every few months I realize I haven't heard it in a while and I listen to it again and once again see that it is the greatest album. Every song is perfect to every note played and every word said.
