It was actually herself (jorja fox) who wanted to leave the show. But she did say that it's not end of Sara Sidle. so i believe she'll be back someday.

OMG!!! i cried when i seen this :( that goodbye letter was heartbreaking. I cant belive that she left i wish she would stay. They wanted her to comeback even after the contract dispute but she said no :( its goin to be hard to watch CSI now knowin that sara isnt on it ne more (Cries). It still makes me sad to think about it.

I cried again listening to the letter on this video.....I kno iam a whimp :(

Wow. I wish that it didn't have to be like that. We are still watching the last season here - 2 eps left. I do hope that they work out something and Jorja comes back to the show. You know a show is going to die when the main characters start leaving (the ones that stay past the pilot or 1st ep)

I live in New Zealand and while this episode has yet to play, I came to watch the how and why. I cried and I hate that in order to see THE KISS it has to be good bye. She will come back. She has to. Grissom needs her, we need her. Good luck to you Jorja. We miss you and wish you the best of luck. But we'll love you more if you come back soon!
