  • what is that bow on his final jeopardy logo? what does it say

    ???

  • Damn right he's an Italian leader. I've seen it on his business card.

  • "How many megs of RAM, Carmine?" "EIGHT!"

  • alex looks like weird al

  • I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out! He does! haha!

  • Let's hope Jesse irwin does not pull a Cliff Clavin and wager the whole $14,200 and he doesn't.

  • he's my husband, duh!

  • What year is this?? I'm thinking it's somewhere between 1993 and 1996....

  • It's from the 1993-94 season. I know because you can see the graphics they used that season are on Jesse's monitor before they reveal his response.

  • And I find it odd that, while you can wager $0 in Final Jeopardy, you can't do that on a Daily Double (even though it has the exact same rule as the Final Jeopardy wagering: Any or all of your total, and I think $0 would be the "any" here, right?)

  • Well you can't tell if Alex says about wagering in Final Jeopardy! since it's a commercial, but with daily doubles, the "any" is either betting all of your money, or the least you can bet is $1.

  • actually, the least you can bet on daily doubles is $50

  • I thought the least you can bet on a Daily Double is $5.

  • That's right. $5 is the minimum wager for a Daily Double. I have seen a contestant do that last year...Alex wasn't happy!

  • I remember that..that was hilarious.

  • I believe $5 has been the minimum since day one... meaning 1964.

  • @gameshowguy2000 DUH, it was FINAL JEOPARDY...

  • The correct response was Manuel Noriega.

  • u sure u can wager $0?

  • Yep, and only in Final Jeopardy can you do that.

  • yea people do it all the time with big leads

  • A smart and conservative wager on his part. So its good, get it wrong, risk nothing, and win!

  • But you better hope they don't pull a Cliff Clavin.

  • Jesse said carmine granucci was an italian leader and trebek believed it. maybe carmine granucci was a buddy of his and his buddy wanted his name on the show.

  • BBBBBBBBBBBBFfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • There's no such person as Carmine Granucci. Jesse made him up.

  • But you can just forget about the fact that Jesse Irwin made up the World Leader Carmine Granucci because he had it a runaway game and he wagered nothing.

  • Carmine Granucci is his buddy. I know him personally.
