Yeah, the title of this video is misleading. Time wasn't actually reversed. Don't you need an actual watch or device that measures time in order to prove you really reversed time? Time can indeed be reversed but you need more evidence than that in order to claim it on publicly.
@BumperTapper2 Special Relativity explains that if you have an electric motor and it spins normally clockwise, that if it reverses it's spin and you have changed the polarity of the magnets or currrent flow or the directions of the windings of that said motor, a time reversal has been proven. This is just an open ended model of a homopolar motor, current from the center to the edge of a magnetic field. You can't make the motor reverse directions without reversing polarity somewhere, magnet bat
The plasma thread itself has an angular momentum component. The B field can only be parallel or antiparallel to the imposed field, so when it flips, it reverses rotation. Yay maxwell!
Took me a while to figure it out since my last comment ;-)
If you study Plasma Physics, the EFDA has a good article on the subject of spin within plasmas. The spin of the electron will not reverse around magnetic lines. Electrons are clockwise as the B field approaches you, and ions are counter-clockwise. Both rotate around magnetic lines. Neither reverse randomly.

How is this time reversal, The rotation of the plasma simply reversed itself
