Actually, JWs don’t use Hallelujah, but correctly translate Ha·lelu·YAH׳ / hallelouIA (‛αλληλούια) as “Praise Jah”—see Psalm 104:35c and Rev.19:1 NWT. Some Bibles DO have Hallelujah! (Rev.19:1: Moffat, NIV, NASB et al) so I'm simply pointing out to those viewers with Hallelujah! in their Bibles that this means “Praise Jah!”.

It is said that Yehowah comes from YHWH + the vowels of ’adhonay (YaHo·WaH). Yehowah also comes from the root howah, a singular Qal Active participle of hawah, with the Imperfect 3ms Hiph‛il Stem : Yah · o· wah, whereby the Pathach a is shortened to a Shewa’ e as a half-vowel / full vowel syllable: Yeho·wah aka Jehovah. I understand that Biblical names with EL in them are not Theophoric names,but found it very interesting that so many names are derived from Jehovah,Jah and also his positions of "God" and even "Father".Look in the Insight books at names starting with "AB" which stands for Father.

Dear Friend. The Name Jehovah is ENGLISH, not Hebrew. The four Hebrew consonants of the Divine Name are YHWH; the Hebrew Y being the English J. So Hebrew YHWH=JHVH in English. Every word in Hebrew consists of a ROOT—usually three consonants—which in YHWH is HWH (in a root, the waw cannot be a vowel). Hi Ryan. Actually, “Jehoshua” means "Jehovah Is Salvation".
Strictly speaking, “Jesus” comes from “Yehohshu´a” in Hebrew, “Jehoshua” in English (“oh”=“o”). Yehohshu´a =Ye·shu´a =Iesous=Iesus=Jesus.
Strong's Concordance #3091 says “Jehoshuah” as well as “Jehoshua”, because the last vowel is a pa´thach (a) “ah”. So I apologise for this MINOR inconsistency, but does not affect the truthfulness of the video. Jehovah bless. Andrew.

look up Colossians 1:16,17 in your Kingdom Interlinear translation of the Greek Scriptures. You will see in the Watchtowers own bible, how they twisted that scripture by adding 'OTHER'. I didn't see 'OTHER' in the Greek, do you? According to the Greek in the Interlinear, Jesus created ALL things. The New World Translation changed it to suit the doctrine. Their is a reference in that bible to go to another scripture which simply adds 'OTHER' again! Prove me wrong please! I'm searching for truth
At Col.1:16 with / without 'other', the Greek does NOT say that 'he (Jesus) created all things', but 'IN him were created all things...and all things THROUGH him and FOR him have been created'. As the FIRSTBORN of the Creator & His creation (vs 15), Jesus is NOT the Creator, but helped Jehovah by assembling things. At verses 13&16 the word 'other' correctly distinguishes Satan's creation (the authority of the darkness...his thrones,lordships,rulers,etc) from Jehovah's creation through/for Jesus.

To Sikovit: If you are wondering what God's name is, be assured that the answer can be found. The prophecy in Acts 15:14-18 has been fulfilled. This 'people for his name', 'people who are called by my name, says Jehovah are Jehovah's Witnesses, some 7 million of whom can be found today throughout the earth actively clarifying questions such as these. It is not that esoteric, actually: this name of God is found some 7,000 times in the most widely distributed book in history.
Doing a little more research....I have found God's name to be YHWH and Jesus' name to be YHSWH..not Yashua...But the name Jesus was translated back to is Iaesus which was Joshua..

There are TWO hayah: #1961:"haw-yaw"(to become); and #1962: "hah-yaw'"(ruin; another form for hovah #1943 which is another form for hav-vah-#1942). Therefore, with all due respect, you have the wrong word i.e. #1962. Jehovah means "He Causes To Become".
Then Technically His Name should be pronounced Jah Vey...The O to my understanding was put in in the 12th century..by using the word Adonai...They moved the vowels over to form the new Transliteration...:).

The original LXX in Greek rendered God's name in square Hebrew letters, not in Greek; FOUR CONSONANTS YHWH. Confusingly, Yod in Latin was an I, a VOWEL (i.e. Iehowah). So to avoid such confusion, a new CONSONANT was needed, hence the J with the phonetic value of the Y of Hebrew. Actually, JWs don’t use Hallelujah, but correctly translate Ha·lelu·YAH׳ / hallelouIA (‛αλληλούια) as “Praise Jah”—see Psalm 104:35c and Rev.19:1 NWT. Some Bibles DO have Hallelujah! (Rev.19:1: Moffat, NIV, NASB et al) so I'm simply pointing out to those viewers with Hallelujah! in their Bibles that this means “Praise Jah!”.

It is said that Yehowah comes from YHWH + the vowels of ’adhonay (YaHo·WaH). Yehowah also comes from the root howah, a singular Qal Active participle of hawah, with the Imperfect 3ms Hiph‛il Stem : Yah · o· wah, whereby the Pathach a is shortened to a Shewa’ e as a half-vowel / full vowel syllable: Yeho·wah aka Jehovah. I understand that Biblical names with EL in them are not Theophoric names,but found it very interesting that so many names are derived from Jehovah,Jah and also his positions of "God" and even "Father".Look in the Insight books at names starting with "AB" which stands for Father.
It is all very interesting and a great subject to do some research on--even for children.

Dear Friend. The Name Jehovah is ENGLISH, not Hebrew. The four Hebrew consonants of the Divine Name are YHWH; the Hebrew Y being the English J. So Hebrew YHWH=JHVH in English. Every word in Hebrew consists of a ROOT—usually three consonants—which in YHWH is HWH (in a root, the waw cannot be a vowel). Hi Ryan. Actually, “Jehoshua” means "Jehovah Is Salvation".
Strictly speaking, “Jesus” comes from “Yehohshu´a” in Hebrew, “Jehoshua” in English (“oh”=“o”). Yehohshu´a =Ye·shu´a =Iesous=Iesus=Jesus.
Strong's Concordance #3091 says “Jehoshuah” as well as “Jehoshua”, because the last vowel is a pa´thach (a) “ah”. So I apologise for this MINOR inconsistency, but does not affect the truthfulness of the video. Jehovah bless. Andrew.

look up Colossians 1:16,17 in your Kingdom Interlinear translation of the Greek Scriptures. You will see in the Watchtowers own bible, how they twisted that scripture by adding 'OTHER'. I didn't see 'OTHER' in the Greek, do you? According to the Greek in the Interlinear, Jesus created ALL things. The New World Translation changed it to suit the doctrine. At Col.1:16 with / without 'other', the Greek does NOT say that 'he (Jesus) created all things', but 'IN him were created all things...and all things THROUGH him and FOR him have been created'. As the FIRSTBORN of the Creator & His creation (vs 15), Jesus is NOT the Creator, but helped Jehovah by assembling things. At verses 13&16 the word 'other' correctly distinguishes Satan's creation (the authority of the darkness...his thrones,lordships,rulers,etc) from Jehovah's creation through/for Jesus.

To Sikovit: If you are wondering what God's name is, be assured that the answer can be found. The prophecy in Acts 15:14-18 has been fulfilled. This 'people for his name', 'people who are called by my name, says Jehovah are Jehovah's Witnesses, some 7 million of whom can be found today throughout the earth actively clarifying questions such as these. #1943 hovah comes from #1962 hayah, not the #1961 hayah (to become) from which Jehovah derives its MEANING, not vowels. Thus, HOVAH IS THE WRONG WORD!! 'Jehovah' doesn't come from hovah. Many Hebrew Bibles render YHWH as Yehowah, Yehwah, & Yehoah, by waw with the holem O (Yehoah) or he with the holem O (Yehowah), as does the Hebrew-Greek-English Interlinear (e.g. Exodus 13:15,14vs1 has Yehowah). Also, ther was never a letter "J" in the Engkish language until the 17th century. So the MOST HIGH'S name could have never been Jehovah, nor his son Jesus.

These theophoric names mentioned in the video prove that God's name in Hebrew was YEHOWAH, not Yahweh. The original LXX in Greek rendered God's name in square Hebrew letters, not in Greek; FOUR CONSONANTS YHWH. Confusingly, Yod in Latin was an I, a VOWEL (i.e. Iehowah). So to avoid such confusion, a new CONSONANT was needed, hence the J with the phonetic value of the Y of Hebrew. Even so, God's name would be either Yehovah or Jehovah, from the Latin Iehowah from the Hebrew YeHoWaH. Shalom!

Thank you, Sally. We can all play a role in sanctifying Jehovah's name, can't we? A lot of people don't even realize that when the Lord's Prayer says "Let your NAME be sanctified (or hallowed)", this is referring to God's name Jehovah, for His name to be known by all, to overturn Satan's slander and deletion of Jehovah's name, to restore God's name Jehovah in the Bible where it belongs. At John 17:6 Jesus Christ in prayer to Jehovah said " I have made your NAME manifest... ". Agape!

Its so true the bible contain so many names that have Jehovah in them.Even though christendom has take the name of the Almighty God Jehovah out many translations,they cant take out all the names link with Jehovahs name.Thank you pointing that out.Love this video.

Awesome video! Many times I wonder about the origin of such things like this, but like everyone else I get distracted by trying to keep an ever increasingly expensive roof over my head! great video!! thanks so much for upping, great to get some plain facts for once instead of all this "opinion" everywhere. Nice music, bet it actually took a while2 make 2 great research - shows how complicated language gets especially over few thousand years. R u saying that Jehovah is basially from Hebrew and not Egyptian, Babylonian or Greek languages that have other meanings for phonetically same words/sounds. Hebrew grew out of earlier Sumerian I suppose & I see this in this vid too. 5stars!

Um im a girl lol. Jehovah exists right in ppls faces yet they chose to ignore, go out of they're way to prove he doesnt exist. Paradise is the Reward for having faith In Jehovah and being Loyal. Reward for it. so we have to be very patient and endure anyway we can.

Thanks. Quite right! It does say that Jesus Christ (Jehoshua) is God's SON. I know exactly what you mean! People exist only because Jehovah is sparing them alive due to the issue of manrule (can mankind govern themselves without Jehovah?), but not for long! Without Jehovah, no-one exists in the first place; and yet people turn their backs on our loving heavenly Father. What ingratitude!!
The real life, perfect life in a Paradise earth is what Jehovah promises to those who love him. Wonderful!

i feel like banging my head against a wall sometimes when ppl are so ignorant to the truth about Jehovah. I know satan is behind but it still get's really annoying. there is so much proof that Jehovah is there. the bible is truth and fact. not fiction. Ye ppl just dont want it. Who in their right mind doesnt want a paradise home, and healthy living. U'll see crippled brothers runnin up to you, blind throwing away their braille bibles etc

Thank you, brother. Yes, you are right. John is an interesting theophoric name still in use, albeit in English. Forgive me for saying, but as a matter of fact, John comes from Johanan (Yochanan) which in turn comes from Jehohanan (Yehochanan). Y[eh]ochanan=Yochanan
(J[eh]ohanan)=Johanan)=John. 'Shown Favour' and 'Gracious' are synonyms of chanan. Please note that the Jeho..comes from Yehowah, not Yahweh.(no 'a' in first vowel).
