Keysi goes very well with the movies b/c its incredibly effective against inexperienced fighters, exactly the opponents that Batman face. Not NAVY Seals or UFC fighters but more of the street thug types. I did a few years of MMA training and Keysi brings you just about as close as you can to the opponent without going to the floor like wrestling. when you step in so close, so fast, continuously protect your head, while throwing elbows everywhere you can imagine, an nonfighter hasn't a 1st clue

This is nothing more than Richard Ryan's Dynamic Combat's Shield system, or Tony Blauer's S.P.E.A.R.,or Krav Maga's 360 defense.----whichever you prefer. I personally trace the roots back to Dynamic Combat's Shield method as being the originator.

@insaneIylogical I watched it, he does have good points, but like I said before, it's the fighter really, not the art. Kung Fu for instance is not one martial art it has many forms like San Shou from which MMA Champion Cung le used a lot of his techniques from and Karate from which Chuck Liddell used some techniques from. Every martial art has flaws even the newer ones like BJJ has some techniques that aren't really useful without a Gi on, same with Judo. Nothing is perfect.
@Xveldin First off, San Shou is a recently modern martial art. It isn't old. It was really a chinese rip off of Muay thai. Except they don't even have a clinch. Chuck has trained in Kenpo but he doesn't USE kenpo. The style he uses is american kickboxing and has background in wrestling

@insaneIylogical I watched it, he does have good points, but like I said before, it's the fighter really, not the art. Kung Fu for instance is not one martial art it has many forms like San Shou from which MMA Champion Cung le used a lot of his techniques from and Karate from which Chuck Liddell used some techniques from. Every martial art has flaws even the newer ones like BJJ has some techniques that aren't really useful without a Gi on, same with Judo. Nothing is perfect.

@Xveldin First off, San Shou is a recently modern martial art. It isn't old. It was really a chinese rip off of Muay thai. Except they don't even have a clinch. Chuck has trained in Kenpo but he doesn't USE kenpo. The style he uses is american kickboxing and has background in wrestling

Secondly, most of those martial artists you named say that the MA they do is their favorite or the one they are best at, not the one they say is "the best", Bruce Lee said he did not believe in styles anymore because they are a crystallization and JKD is not a style, it's a philosophy on MA, it's basically MMA via old school. Like I said, no one and nothing is perfect really.

@Xveldin Actually if you ever did any research on Bruce disbanded Kung fu Wing chun in favor to create JKD. Believe it or not, JKD is a style. Ask Inosanto, JKD has certain kicks and moves only utilized in it, not a philosophy. Don't get confused with Bruce Lee's Philosophy and his martial arts. Bruce wouldn't have slapped a name on it if it wasn't a martial art. So even he believes JKD is better than other martial arts. So you're wrong on that

Don't follow one way, be flexible and seek out the truth for how you do best at fighting. Even Bruce himself said that He did not make a new style but just a new way of looking at styles.

"Over years I believe that styles had become too rigid, and unrealistic". This is a REAL quote from Lee (buy a book kid) here he blatantly says that OTHER styles are unrealistic. He created JKD to create a working style. He has even said "Karate is like a bar, while kung fu is like a bar with two chains." (Noting the differences of styles and ineffectiveness)
