Momentum and positivity is good but the substance matters more. The substance that allows RP to crush his opponents in open political debate and expose them as clueless yes men.
That in large part is why the corporate media has imposed an embargo on giving him air time. I personally think there is a danger that RP becomes a celebrity and people start cheering for him personally rather than the freedoms and integrity he represents and projects.
I support Ron Paul but people need to stop treating him like a messiah, it is the ideals he stands for that will set america free not the man. Sadly it will take a generation or more to flush all the poison out of the US political system.

@cindybin2001 That's bullcrap. Drug war failed a long time ago. I'm not a pot smoker, but it's silly how much of its resources and wealth this country wastes on declaring pointless "wars." War on Drugs, War on Poverty, War on Terror, etc. We haven't won any despite billions and trillions wasted. Smoking and drinking also cause brain damage and sometimes death. Should we ban those too? Take responsibility for yourself before you wish taking responsibility for others.

I just like to add that the whole tipping thing is so American and annoying. In my country people rarely tip, because of high minimum wage and everything is fair and transparent upfront for what you have to pay. What's the point of tips if it's mandatory to tip even for bad service? How about abolish tipping and increase min. wage. Push that policy.

if there's not gonna be any taxing on tips, i'm just gonna tip less. not digging the fake smiles of waitresses anyway. the tipping system sucks, it's completely unfair that employees at more expensive restaurants get way more tip money than those working at cheaper restaurants. everybody should just get a decent wage from the get-go like here in Switzerland, no tips necessary here. if service is good, we tip voluntarily. if its' bad, NO tip, and i mean zero. that being said, Ron Paul 2012!

Momentum and positivity is good but the substance matters more. The substance that allows RP to crush his opponents in open political debate and expose them as clueless yes men.
That in large part is why the corporate media has imposed an embargo on giving him air time. I personally think there is a danger that RP becomes a celebrity and people start cheering for him personally rather than the freedoms and integrity he represents and projects.
It has to be about more than just RP alone.
