  • Outstanding!

  • or says diamond ring

  • what a band, what lyrics, what melodies, what legends, and they will always be alive in my heart and mind from now to the end. And remember the best you can do is to give..........................

  • @brettplum "the best you can do is forgive"

  • i wish the wilburys could have done a live show when george and roy were alive

  • aaaaaaaaawwwwww i love it!!!!! ^^ thank you for sharing this :D so lucky of you.... you could be so close to him (L) AWESOME !!!

    kisses from argentina

  • That had to be a George Harrison song. Pretty good version without George.

  • this would be an amazing treat to see live, i wish he woulda played it when i saw him in edmonton

  • Hey, where's the cool video with Mr. Roy Orbison's chair? What they do to the original "end of the line"?

  • Her played this song on our tour date too! What a great show!!!

    I saw him on july 26th 2008! and again on July8th 2010!!

  • Petty cares and rocks!

  • why anyone would rip on him is beyond me. who cares about the quality of the video just enjoy the music. anyways, awesome!

  • demon!!!!

  • just awesome! tom petty reppin his TW counterparts lol

  • The original recording in the studio has been taken down. Sucks!

  • Go crozly9999!!!

  • Tom Petty is in charge to keep rolling the music of TW, i celebrate that! long live TP&THB.

  • Petty And Stipe would be a nice combo!

  • i was outside the fence during this,,he sounded flawless,,i'm still dancin.

  • Nice Performance from Charlie T. Wilbury here

  • Who is the George Harrison sound alike? He passed away in 2001. Either that or this isn't from 2008.

  • George Harrison & Tom Petty were both in the Traveling Wilburys; this song is from their first album.

  • @Demspissmeoff scott thurston. he does harmony vocals, guitar, harmonica, and keyboards for the heartbreakers. whatever they need for each song. he also sings the roy orbison part in handle with care

  • This is a Tom Petty show not a Wilburys show unless I am wrong they never actually performed live altogether they've all performed songs over the years from the 2 Wilbury album that they were most involved in, but never has all 5 superstars performed as the Wilburys. It was mainly a Jeff Lynne & George Harrison project. Tom Petty has got a very natual Harrison type voice anyway, hope this answere's you question

  • this song is about to explode, expect big things at next years grammys

  • what do you mean?

  • all in a day's work for a wilbury.

  • Yeah! they got the recipe right OK

  • that first album was so goood so unforced with so many cool guys in there and no ego,s .They seem like they are really enjoying themselves. One of my favourite albums

  • Like your style..

  • The Traveling Wilburys was such a lark and fun experiment to begin with, I seriously doubt anyone is going to mind if any one of them plays any of those songs lol. The whole point of it was kind of to throw caution to the wind and make some nice music. It would seem "Un-Wilbury-like" for someone to take issue with it this late in the game lol.

  • this was a sweet show i was a bit closer than u but off to the left

  • You know, it seems like most dig 'Handle With Care', and I can't blame them, it's a brilliant song, but I love this song so much more. I think it's all those sweet country licks on the original. Plus, Roy's singin' on that cut are ama.zing

  • Handle with Care is for people who love George more methinks, than the kind of country thing.

  • Yeah. It's may favorite track from that album.

  • Hes' a Wilbury, he can sing it whenever he damn well likes. if you wanna hear the original go listen to the cd you twat.

  • ...love the use of 'twat'...fantastic.....two thumbs up...if anyone says they don't know what it means......then...they are one....

  • @crozly9999 your right

  • The Heartbreakers can do pretty much whatever they damn well please at this point. I get the feeling Mike Campbell's spent the past 30 years practicing.

  • Fucking love you tom

  • I think the goverment should make it law that no-one can ever cover, alter or remix any of the willbury songs, there perfect and can never be improved and now part of history.

  • haha! I'm with ya man! Well spoken! :)

  • I hear what you're saying. The Wilbury songs are perfect & covers usually suck compared to the originals. But I thought Tom did a good job with this & I think it's great that he's keeping classic tunes like this one alive by playing them live during his tour. That said, there's no way a band member can possibly replace the distinct & terrific voices of Dylan, Orbison, Harrison & Lynee.

  • In general I agree - but given that TP is a Willbury some license has to be granted.

  • Its fine for any of the willburys to sing the songs, what I meant was if girls aloud were to cover tweeter and the monkey man I would kill myself, lol. thanks for the reply and enjoy the music.

  • ah-ma-zing

  • who played for george harrison?

  • Mike Campbell.

  • Great Great song thanks to the band.... tt. thx..

  • you know this particular song brings back alot of nostalgia, reminding me of my childhood and times when i wasn't the one with the answers's...great song..

  • 1992 GEO - it's allright

  • Those nissans will run forever. My Suv just hit 17,000 miles!

  • I love how the crowd always cheers during the verse, "I'm just glad to be here, happy to be alive"

  • Dont have to be ashamed of the car I drive - love that part, so true for me.

  • what happened to the orig vid?..... that sucks!

  • what do you mean?

  • yea man i know what you mean. All original versions have been taken down cus the record companies being difficult. All youtube can have is live ones and cover versions it seems :(

  • or britney lol

  • you can find it now, haha

  • this song is just so good never heard a better song

  • the best song on the wilburys album

  • This was such a great show!!! I got very close and enjoyed Tom to the fullest. You know for an older classic rocker, he's still got it! He sounds great still. So good live. This was such a great festival. I had the time of my life all three days!

  • Yeah, chipchaw obviously doesn't know how it works at concerts. Plenty of excuse me's and thank you's got me right to the front rail also. I was even a little bit late. Tom kills it and always has. It was my sixth time seeing him and he is still the best. I wish he would have played tweeter and the monkey man!

  • The show was incredible! Did you get a video of GLORIA or GIMME SOME LOVIN!???

  • Sorry chipchaw but it doesn't sound like you did your homework like some of us 'seasoned' concertgoers. If you did, you would have been there early with the rest of us GA Tom Petty fanatics and got a front row spot at this fabulous festival! Good times at a great price!

  • Nope.....sorry CHIP!

The VIP~ers were off to the Right side,

and the majority were NOT UP CLOSE.

But I WAS on the FRONT RAIL just off center to the left.

Coarse, if you're interested in seeing him up close, you will get there early like I did. I was one of the first 10 peeps in line, and couldn't be happier!

    You ROCK TOM!

  • Tom Petty and his cohorts are great rockers, bearing the standard of R-N-R with dignity and heart, but I hope they'll put on a free concert some day, for the po' folks that can't afford an elitist extravaganza such as the "Outpriced Bands Festival"!! Yeah, I'm jealous. Freakin' pay $85.00 so you can be lookin' at the big screen, cuz those fascist moneygrubbers can feel important with their $250.00 Very Important Pusbag passes.

  • Played the Fillmore earlier this year with Mudcrutch $30 or so for tickets with anti scalping in force (your id matches the cc card or you don't get in). Saw him as well at the Fillmore where they played as the house band for 20 nights a few years back for about the same $'s

  • I see I've drawn a lot of fire about my comment:I must admit, it was made out of jealousy, with a lack of knowledge about how the VIP section truly was. Sorry for putting out neg/vibes. I've been unemployed, and couldn't have afforded even $30 tix. I just got a job, tho', and feel much more positive in general. Like I said, Petty & crew are great rockers; saw a clip of Wilco-they also rocked like a hurricane! What I've heard of Mudcrutch sounds fabulous. Rock On, everybody!!

  • btw its called "end of the line" but it seriously was fantastic

  • awesome video! What a great concert. Who knew Tom was so in touch with life?!
