I dunno ... the 80's pop style kinda detracts from the ... majesty of the more conventional performances of this Anthem.

With a more traditional orchestra/choir rendition, the song makes me feel patriotic *even though I'm not Russian*, it's that potent.

@jeanmarcARG I don't remember their names right off the top of my head, but going through some different soviet music through the years, I'm very sure that the lady with the "child" voice is the some one from the Belorussian group Verasy (Верасы). That voice is one of those hard to mistake for other well known groups and voices of the time.
