hey, is there also a program that "unstreaks" images so that if you view a movie of streak photography you would be able to decode the movie into all the hundreds of different pictures? let me know! sweet movie by the way!
Hi, thanks for your interest. Sorry, I don't know of such a program existing. But in theory I suppose one could be written to reverse the streak image.
Not useless at all actually. This technique can be used to test camera exposure consistency, to photograph a painting/design on a cylindrical object, to show the rise and fall of tides, and streak photography is used to prove who won a close horse or athletics race. So it's not just about making "useless art".
