I have two golden retrievers and when my husband deployed I kept them in my room instead of downstairs. It took a few weeks to get them back to normal, they would cry outside the bedroom door! Urgh!
I'd say to definitely keep the dog out of the bed as well. If the bassinet doesn't work then you should try getting a bed somewhere else for them. Then if that also doesn't work then you should shut the door, and yet if that doesn't work then you should get them a kennel. I know it might suck but, you gotta do and try something... :\ Hope Mollie's advice works! :)
