Greetings Tine... I do hope you will be coming to Fort Lauderdale or the Miami Area soon. Today I discovered you because I love Astor Piazzola, and you and Tango Trio have a few pieces of his, here on You Tube. I am already a huge fan of two very distinct Artists from Norway, namely Silje Neergard and Thomas Dybdahl. Now I can say I love one more, you. Your playing is truly sublime and I thank you for allowing me to listen via this medium (and thank you YOUTUBE!).
I just discovered you when I was searching for Haydn's trumpet piece that he wrote for his friend which was lost and found after 100 yrs after; you're unbelievable; I'm not a trumpet listener but I'm mesmerized by that piece. Your playing echoes a unique blend of softness coming out from that brass. You're fabulous. Wish you very best.
Hello Tine; I am a fan from the USA. I would like to know about how long you have studied trumpet. I also wondered if there are any plans to tour the United States. Our Public Broadcast Network is a great place for introducing European talent and has helped launch musicians and entertainers who were not well known in the country. I hope you have some plans to tour here. I am just beginning to study trumpet and have set a goal of playing with a senior brass band that tours my area.
Now that I know you speak English, please come play with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra!!!! I live near Nashville, Tennessee and I would kill to see that concert!! You are my number 1 idol!!!
You are my favorite trumpet player of all time. I listen to your music as often as I can. I would love to have a lesson from you someday or see you in a practice session online or something. Thanks for inspiring me!
soo, this year the texas city hs marching band recieced a 1st division, (1.1.2) and the judge that gave us a 2, said that the high brass' sound isnt so great. my director wants the high brass to go for a more professional sound, so i of course, went to youtube, and came across one of your videos and watching you play the trumpet helps me understand the way that it should be played and just listening has improved my sound personally, thank you Helseth !
No, no, no, Tine! You should come here to JAPAN quickly! I know you came to Japan last year, but I did not know about you at that time. So I failed to meet you at the concert. What a pity!
Shortly after you had left Japan, I started to play the trumpet for the first time in about thirty years, and I came to know about you.
Your sound is incredible! I'm looking forward to hearing your tone at the concert!
Tine!!!! I hope you come to Southern California!!! I play trumpet as well...i actually just started practicing again...You have inspired me to record a CD in the near future! Hope all is well and i hope you didnt spend too much shopping!!!
Hi, in December I heard you play at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the performance (both yours and Steffen Horn's!). I hope you will be appearing in concert here again in 2010!
It`s great to finally understand what you`re saying. =) I have a question for you. How do you pronounce your name? because every time I want to mention you to a friend I can`t pronounce it. =P
Listening to you makes me want to play again....just can't find the time or place, haha
