  • Using marijuana for six years now I realized that its not a physical addiction but a mental addiction. If i don't smoke marijuana every day ill have problems sleeping, eating and also suffer from frequent minor anxiety attacks. Although the short term use of marijuana is less harmful than alcohol, sigerates or caffeine, studies has proven that the long term use of marijuana can increases mental diseases such as Schizophrenia by 14%.

  • weed is peace.

  • its mentally addictive but only physically for those than physically need it

  • Ive been smoking for about 3 years and i was an all day every day type of smoker and i just moved to LA so i had to stop cuz i didnt have any connects out here and its now been about 2 weeks since my last bowl...i am absolutly OK! no mental/physical cravings what soever.its actually made me enjoy it more so now when i do have it...it seems more intense and fun.

  • Marijuana is a mental addiction, i know, when i was younger 17 i smoked it till around 22 and over those years, it was on occasions, I'm 38 now and i don't miss or even crave it. It's all in the mind, beside that I wouldn't smoke it while working a federal job anyways lol

  • THERE ARE NO MECHANISMS IN CANNABINOID OIL THAT CAN CAUSE ADDICTION, NEITHER PHYSICAL NOR PSYCHOLOGICAL ON THE CONTRARY IS CANNABINOID DEFICIENCY MORE LIKELY AS OUR OWN ENDO-CANNABINOID SYSTEM HAS NOT THE CAPACITY TO WITHSTAND THIS MASSIVE OVERLOAD OF POLLUTION OUR BODY GOES THROUGH IN A MODERN CIVILIZATION.. SO IT IS NECESSARY TO INGEST EXTRA CANNABINOIDS, RAW FOR MOST PEOPLE (JUICED RAW BUDS AND LEAFS) AND UP-HEATED FOR PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESSES (CANNABINOID OIL, EDIBLES, AND SUSH)..

  • VAPORIZING AND SMOKING FOR THOSE WITH RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS, SCLEROSES AND PAIN - ALL CAN BE USED SEPARATE OR COMBINED AND THERE IS NO OVERDOSE EXCEPT YOU CAN INGEST 1200 PONDS OF IT IN 15 MINUTES :) SO SMOKING CANNABIS FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES CAUSES NO DAMAGE TO THE BODY, BUT IT MIGHT EXPAND YOUR PSYCHE.

  • This stupid ass country should just stop trying and legalize it cause it's going to happen sooner or later

  • omg Shut the fuck uP! you dont know what you talking about! i guess u never seen weed in real life before!

  • R u stupid weed killed over 520 people on a train because the driver was smoking it

  • No trouble

  • Also video games are a mental addiction but people can stop I can play then for days and they be very addicting but I can stop very easy and have to trouble

  • What what does weed do to your heart?

  • Marijuana does NOT cause addiction... MOST addictions are both a combination of mental and physical, the mental part is basically a test of will power. I was a cig smoker and a drinker for over 10 years. I quit BOTH with no extra help, no programs, no other influence i just told my self NO it'll kill me and I enjoy life :/ I lived in a house with 3 CONSTANT smokers, and 2 alcoholics. I didn't slip up once because I wanted to prove to MYSELF that I was strong enough to overcome it. It worked

  • @AoiMitsuko You weren't an addict or an alcoholic. That's why you were able to stop on pure will power. Since you're not an addict and you clearly don't know what you are really talking about, you should keep your opinions to yourself and stop helping people who really are addicted rationalize their use.

  • @italypride224 Did I ever say I was? Were you? Do you know any of the crap that your are stating from experience or from the internet and books? How bout you take your own advice and keep your ignorant and arrogant statements and opinions to yourself. The only person that's "helping people who really are addicted rationalize their use" is you. My statement is for those that don't believe that they have the power to overcome addiction, if you want to be negative keep it to yourself.

  • It ain't the drugs that are the addiction, it's being addicted to escape this reality, think about that...

    Love

  • The act of smoking marijuana does not make you addicted like say smoking crack for the first time. Marijuana is habitual. Meaning it is habit forming. People in general have addictive personalities. Habitual addictions include things like coffee, candy, food, etc. Do we lambaste people who eat to much candy? Do we put them in jail? The problem is society. It is trying to dictate what's good and or what's bad for people to do.

  • Nothing in itself is addicting

  • This girl is very pleasant.

  • I've witnessed it really help people, myself included. I have some stomach issues and ganja is most definitely the best medicine when I have a flair up. Also, have to say that the political views on it influence me strongly, such as Gingrich saying all pot smokers should be put to death... LOL! That makes me want to see it legalized but only if the government doesn't control it as they would allow Monsanto to GMO it! :P

  • I would bang her on a bathroom floor

  • @74seva Why specifically the bathroom floor???

  • @EncognitiveVids its harder to get the blood out of a bed, probably....people who call having sex 'banging' prolly wont make it to the climax without making a mess...

  • @EncognitiveVids they're is a song about banging on the bathroom floor.

  • @EncognitiveVids cus hes a dirty boy who likes her to get on top and feel the cold tiles on his back

  • funny thing about "mental" addictions is that a placebo can curb their cravings. you try giving a piece of chewing gum to an H user and see if it helps him fight his urge to use. I'm not sure i get the point of making the distinction between the two, since our mental functions are processed through physical structures in the brain. In other words, I am not sure what a "mental" addiction even is, or whether thc is even addictive at all"

  • @MisterNickOtine Theoretically, a person should be able to overcome a mental addiction through will power and/or support group. If a person is mentally strong, they can overcome their mental addiction. A physical addiction is much harder to overcome. Heroin, for example, is a physical (physiological) addiction. A physical addiction affects your cells much more than a mental addiction. Your body craves the drug, like it craves food. I'm not an expert on the subject. Read "End Your Addiction."

  • ive have come to find that weed is indeed mentally addictive, and that ive been using it to escape reality and now i treat it like meth, im not gonna permanently stop smoking but cut back immensly and overall if u keep smokin it willl downgrade your quaility of life if u just smoke and sit on your couch, well from my exp, i relized i have goals and i wanna follow em, if i do smoke ill replace the couch with doing something active , or everytime im offered a hit ill play brain games instead

  • @1718rr Very good insight. You want to read the book, "End Your Addiction Now" by Dr. Grant. It'll open your eyes to the brain chemistry of weed addiction. Hope you follow through.

  • @EncognitiveVids thanks so much, dr. grant is very insightful and will try out natural vitamins to help with my neuro transmitter imbalances

  • @EncognitiveVids mental addiction doesn't have a chemistry behind it. That's why it's called mental and not physical addiction. In fact, cannabinoids themselves do not interfere directly into the brain's chemistry. They bond to what's called cannabinoid receptors. The receptors then send an appropriator messages( depends on cannabinoid's bonded composition) to the brain. 500 letters is not enough to describe, but you can research on endocannabinoid system.

  • @MrLeolesh Anything that touches our cells will impact them in some way. It's just the degree.

  • @MrLeolesh Weed releases huge amounts of dopamine(a pleasure chemical) in the brain. For SOME people, about 10%, the dopamine levels themselves caused by weed become addictive. When these people have lower levels of dopamine than they are used to(like when they don't have any weed) they become depressed and irritable. Most people don't like being depressed, so naturally those who have imbalanced their brain chemistry with weed will seek out more weed to pull themselves out of depression.

  • @italypride224 thus weed can cause addiction that has physical chemical elements in the brain.

  • OVERALL , I rate this video as Excellent. Honest & without prejudice. thank you. people still have to make their own CHOICES>. not the government stand over tactics. I have used cannabis in many situations & there has to be HONEST EDUCATION about this plant.. I currently do not use , I don't miss it , I have no compunction to use again.. I will when I decide I will benefit & it is suitable to my needs.,, that's how is should be. WE ALL DECIDE FOR OURSELVES> peace.

  • itz not addictive i zmoke marijuana and wenever i dont have it i dont feel like going to ma potdealer and get zome and ive benn zmokin for 2 yearz

  • @crombolino I'm an avid pot smoker, and you people like you make us look bad. Learn to fucking spell.

  • your reading a script....

  • it's an obstruction of liberty, freedom and human rights to deny anyone the right to do anything having to do with cannabis. whether they'd like to admit that it's a powerful medicine or not.

  • @cricketjam I agree. I smoked weed for about 3 years. It didn't do much for me and I wouldn't do it again. However, I feel that people should be free to decide to put what they want in their bodies. It should be treated as a health issue and not a legal one. I fully support legalization of ALL drugs.

  • @EncognitiveVids I am most creative and able to absorb information when I am using cannabis. It makes me vigilant while also focused, meticulous, while also able to relax and see bigger pictures at will. cannabis has evolved alongside us. with us, a symbiotic relationship in nature. it has been found to promote brain cell growth, it's ANTIcarcinogenic, and it ultimately REGULATES appetite

  • anything wonderful is habit forming or MENTALLY addictive which, really only makes it a habit in my book

I've driven high over 90% of the time for 14 years and never had an accident.
