There are too many characters who use Chinese kung-fu: Law, Wang, Lei, Feng, Ling Xiaoyu and even Leo. Also Eddy and Christie are using the same type of moves. I think Namco really should come up with something more original and diverse characters' fighting skills.
Actually, I find Leo's fighting style quite different and refreshing from all the other ones... And even if Eddy/Christie use the same type of moves, their fighting styles are veery different...

There are no other pronouns in leos story. They used ambiguous wordings like "the young child, Leo is the child of, and The youngster" to keep players from knowing leos gender. I personally think leo is a girl just because they are trying to hide her gender so much.

Leo is a guy. it even says so on the tekken 6 official website. even go to the web. yooh type in tekken 6 and click on 'Tekken 6 - Official Game Site' then go to characters and click on Leo's picture and read his description. it says he and his all over it.
Someone must have heavily edited it, and the prologue in the game (I have the PSP version). In both versions, all I find is Leo's name. I've read through the thing more than five times, and have yet to find a pronoun defining Leo's gender.

It's the Americans that translated the profile, they can't write anything without the words he/she so they just simply put any gender randomly. Leo es una chica. En el modo historia se dice, cada vez que se dice un adjetivo referente a Leo es en femenino. Lo que pasa es que en inglés el género no se distingue y por eso existe esa ambigüedad.

i use leo too. i just wanted everyone to know that she a girl not a guy. the #1 thing that makes her seem like a guy is the knight outfit. but she has a chocker customization which is only for girls. besides, the link i gave u, namco confirmed leo a girl just a month after the first trailer. it was april 2007. surprised people still deny it.

I was watching the opening( i got the game recently) and i saw this girl really cool...then when i choosed her in the game it said Leo...i was like wtf...went to Wikipedia and she is reffered as a "He"...so what the hell...her face is so girly,Voice of a girl,long eyelashes and big eyes like a girl,and lips are pink and formed more like a woman...
and in this video at 0:12 you can clearly see she has breasts. so wtf

Leo is a guy. it even says so on the tekken 6 official website. even go to the web. yooh type in tekken 6 and click on 'Tekken 6 - Official Game Site' then go to characters and click on Leo's picture and read his description. it says he and his all over it.

Someone must have heavily edited it, and the prologue in the game (I have the PSP version). In both versions, all I find is Leo's name. I've read through the thing more than five times, and have yet to find a pronoun defining Leo's gender.

I hope the subject of Leo's Gender doesn't suffer the same fate as who is Unknown. Til this day Namco still hasn't revealed info on who Unknown is. I hope Namco makes a statement on what Leo is. But if ya ask me, I think Leo is a female. There is women in this world who are shaped like Leo.

TBH, almost all fighters aren't beginner friendly, or good at all on the Xbox. The controllers aren't made for fighting games like Tekken.
Also, the issue about Leo. I don't know why people are calling Leo a he, or a she. But until the actual answer comes out, refer to Leo as Leo. People want Leo to be this and that, but no one knows for a fact what Leo is. So call Leo by Leo and stop this stupid debate, or whatever you want to call it, about his/her gender.

To everyone that that arguing about Leo's gender, Leo is a girl. First, every translated site including the official one isn't reliable at all because Japanese don't use the words he/she. It's the Americans that translated the profile, they can't write anything without the words he/she so they just simply put any gender randomly. Second, Namco didn't disclose anything about Leo's gender. Lastly, Leo's looks like a girl in all aspects, she can't go topless, and her boobs shape in 'jacketless'.

Leo is the first character from Gernmany. From the start, the development team wanted to create a character that would be loved by fans regardless of gender so they made the gender of Leo ambiguous on purpose. Of course, Leo is just nickname based on the character,s name... from Tekken art book...

I have the game and it says neither "he" nor "she" in the game. And it is the official website of the creators of the game. it's like saying that steven spielberg wouldn't know if his character was male or female so you would deduce this from the movie itself instead of trusting him

actually it doesn't. I don't know if you got a special version of the game or something because it does not say "him/his" or "her" anywhere in the prologue, thus this discussion. However, looking at the official website by the creators of the game it says "his". Whatever original intentions there were or whatever you guys want, Leo is a boy/man.

Ok first, the site did mistranslate her to his,and second dont you notice that wikipedias notes on Leo are just copied off the website, so really you can only relate to one source, and thirdly, wikipedia noticed the mistranslation and have corrected, go and check.
