Yes, RHS had their shot at retribution on 2/15/08. Good game, nice try and all that. Maybe we'll see you at State, if you make it this year.

If not... Amin, Glen, David, you've been good, classy opponents. These were two very close, hard-fought games -- either or both could easily have gone your way. We know it's not you who is still kvetching about officiating, a full year later. Hopefully one or the other of us beats Franklin someday. Peace.

I swear this ref was terrible. He was a Garfield graduate, he had been suspended earlier in the season for biased reffing in a Roosevelt-Garfield game, and this was his first game back. Roosevelt easily deserved this spot. Thank God we get a chance to revenge ourselves on the same stage this year.

The Seattle GHS basketball team was very exciting to watch when I was a student in 2000.  They bused us from GHS to the Tacoma dome to see the AAAA high school basketball finals. It was very fun to watch and a nice way to celebrate school spirit.
