Not really. Voidray "cheese" is only on 1base and/or if you mass them. Theres nothing cheesy about expanding quickly and then building the best units to keep you alive.

Why is it that every single time I watch a protoss player (which I root for), they always lose. Ive prob only watch one vid so far where the toss player wins.

It should not be like this..... Fucking Zerg makes a brilliant play, dropping right into Aces main, takes out key facilities including stopping storm from being researched.... Ace just moves his base, goes for the base race, and actually has a chance of winning....
That is seriously flawed... If protoss had attacked Zerg first, he would not have had time to setup the wall of spines, therefore, if Zerg had tried to do what Ace did, he wouldn't even had a chance, he would have just lost 100%.
@staphinfection Yeah, Zerg does get the short handed quite a bit it seems. Though one thing I'll keep in mind should I ever do a mass drop like this is to get an insurance nydus network somewhere away from the front. Then you can deploy one in the drop zone for reinforcements, or more importantly in this situation, a way to quickly recall your army to defend a base race situation like this.
I love how Darkforce used his ENTIRE army, and some reinforcements to try to take out Aces expansion last game.... FAILED, lost his entire army... And then Ace marches down with ONE void ray, and nearly kills off Darkforces expo single handedly.

@ethanm531 BOTH!!! You could wait for later to get the GOTY Skyrim for a reduced price or the already reduced Starcraft. Skyrim is singleplayer goodness and Starcraft is multiplayer strategy. Also if it's PC Skyrim, than get Skyrim, more bang for your buck.

The protoss didn't lose too much in the air attack. The zerg had to build a ton of spore crawlers and he lost some queens. In the end, the trade-off wasn't really slanted too much in any player's favour.
@ThePaulWog I disagree. The investment in infrastructure to make the stargates and 4 voidrays needs to do 2x the cost in damage to break even, because you've slowed down your economy to get the voidrays out.
Also, his army was largely air which are only good if the anti-air of the opponent is weak.
That sounds obvious, but it means you can't just build a air army and hope to crush anything. Dollar for dollar, ground army packs more punch, so an air army needs to exploit it's "air-ness" kapeesh?

What I meant to say is that a lot of people (including what seems like Husky and Day9) seem to forget the cost of a spore crawler is 125 (drone+75), plus the valuable use of a larva (that drone). Having to respond with 5 more spores than you'd normally build equals a pretty big drawback. Plus there were the lost queens, and the protoss kept some map control/scouting with the phoenix.
Still, zerg definitely came out ahead. But I thought it wasn't as much as husky was saying.
