@Thommyboy9933 Assassins got 1st place all day 1st round, 2nd round, and semi finals, and in finals we get 2nd to last........I get hwat ur saying with scenes jersey boys.
@konichiwaarobert The reason why Assasins Placed poorly in finals is because of the time...If times were different like when it was done in 05 it would of been a hundred percent more effective. But still because of two judges they got second place and not first., Next time take a look at the judges in the room it would explain a world of difference. When you have elderly people judging you they would rather see a seen like west side story not a scene about killing presidents...its how it goes.
Its funny cus when i was in dtasc and i would see a younger judge i would be pissed off... and now that im a judge and one with a degree and one who has majored in Musical Theatre I wish i took it for granted knowing that these are the judges that have been there done that and was probably really damn good at it lol... always know your surroundings even at festival.. never put yourself down if you dont place its probably because you got a few messed up judges!!! it happens to the best of us!
i loved the story and their songs were to me the most memorable.
and bat boy was really funny but i didn't hear a lot of singing. and of course west side story was great, but personally, as i said before, i liked jersey boys better
i remember seeing this! you guys were GREAT! a much-deserved award :)

How could you like jersey boys better!? West Side Story killed the serious scenes but Bat Boy dominated the comedy scenes and was the crowd favorite
