I love Jessica Simpson! this is a great christmas song and she sings it beautifully! anyone who says other wise or talk down about her obviously doesnt know what talent is! Who cares all xmas songs sound alike and are constantly redone theres not to much you can wish, hope, want and dream for in regards to xmas the songs are similar but completely different. Mariah's version is a classic, Britney version is nice but lets be real its heavily computerized. Jessica version here in MY OPINION is actually good vocally for her she isnt straining or oversinging. Makes me wonder what her up and coming album would be like.

@madeinheavenx But the point is that it's not a cover. A cover would be fine, but this is just a very similarly stylized song. I know it's just a Christmas song and it's not a big deal, but I do think it's more than coincidence that there are so many similarities between the songs.
