I'd love to see this game brought to the Wii; if it worked for Boy and His Blob, I think it can work for this one too. Not too many remixes of the game soundtrack, sadly.
Very nice. I just ordered Ghoul School online to play this Halloween. Quite an underrated game I must say. It's not perfect, but it's still fun. Thanks for the game Scott!
@glitchedgamer Great! I'm sure you've picked up lots of spoilers and tips on some of the how-to videos here on the tube. Remember to smash the scoreboard in the gym and the master clock in the main office. Don't attack the janitor, he's your friend. The whole story behind the game you can find googling "Bogleech.com Interviews Scott Marshall" Enjoy!
@MisterScott99 That interview is actually what made me want to buy the game. It's very cool to actually be talking to the man behind an NES game lol. Thanks for the tips!
I loved this game. I got it from my aunt back in '92 along with Rocky and Bullwinkle. I know, it was nearly impossible, but I eventually beat it by sheer determination. I was actually sad to see all those ghosts float away. The music definitely contributed. Nicely done.
@Biospark88 Thanks! I was sad when I finished creating the game., which is why the final tune is sad. Hope you were not too upset by what happened to Spike at the end. One player said it was "face melting" LOL
i folllow the work of ghoul school music, i love each track , i remade the main theme in my page, if u are the creator of the soudn track, u have all my respect
@alexcze Hey thanks! I like your interpretation of the main theme a lot. I always felt it was too short -- needed more sections, bridges, breaks, but when I tried to come up with them I always drew a blank. The library theme I'm sure could be turned into a good trance piece and I l=plan to work on it when I find the time. Keep up the good work.
@MisterScott99 I have to ask. Is there anything that inspired the small tune that plays in the Air Ducts? The simple repetitive maj7th runs up and down have been ingrained in my head since I played this so many years ago. Might be the fact that it is so repetitive.
@Bluetailvappy It was a long time ago, and I don't remember specifically what inspired the air ducts music. I was into Philip Glass then, so that was the style I was emulating. However, listening to it and playing it on piano just now -- it's remarkably similar to the instrumental theme for the movie Midnight Cowboy by John Barry (on youtube) and it was undoubtedly my subconscious inspiration.
@Orenotter Yes, I wrote all of the music for the NES game Ghoul School, as well as the concept, characters, and story. The basement music, however, is based on Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor (organ music on youtube), and the music room bit is what I used to hear in High School music room singing classes.

Very nice.
When you say "Original", do you mean you wrote this music?
