Personally I think that Higurashi is the best anime ever but I still like Haruhi (The light novels are amazing ^^ I'm gonna buy the second one soon). I love this thing. I hope they make a real Harvest Moon anime.

Wow! Awesome idea! I really like your voice, and the drawings were really good, compared to some people's digital art skills(ie, mine... ^-^;). I really like the concept and think you put forth an excellent effort! HM and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are two of my favorite things too! The only thing that could of made it better would be to animate it, but I'm not going to dwell on that too much because have yet to figure out how to do that myself. Anyway, 5 stars! I'm eager to see more! ^-^

Heh-heh, thank you very much. ^^ But I don't own all the Harvest Moon games - just Magical Melody for GameCube, Tree of Tranquility for Wii, and Island of Happiness and Puzzle de Harvest Moon for DS. I'm pretty limited in my knowledge of all the titles, but hearing so much about them here and there has made me a fan of the Harvest Moon franchise in general.

...I didn't use gratuitous Japanese, except for one line because it flowed better and drew the two concepts together. I didn't do it to try to show off any impressive Japanese knowledge; I'll be the first to admit that I have none. In fact, I researched like crazy to make sure I was using the right characters in the right order when I vertically arranged the title logo. So please don't act so superior to me just because I like a Japanese show and a Japanese game. Thats not what a "weeaboo" is.

Uhh, that's 'cause I am... ?=| The original song was in Japanese (a theme song for an anime called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), but I took a karaoke file for it and rewrote my own words about Harvest Moon and sang it. I'm sure no one could confuse it for a professionally done song. xD

pretty good. I think if you did give it more of an effort, it wouldn't have looked desperate but pretty amazing. As it is now it's more of a thing to show off singing rather than animation xD I love the idea though. Maybe you can do an even better one in the future. I love Haruhi! xD nice video, though.

Wow, thank you for the encouragement. ^^ The problem is, though, that I don't have nearly the skills to draw some of the things that are necessary to get it perfect. (I surely would have gone through with this AND the Harvest Harvest Yukai by now. xD) For example, I'm clueless about dimensions and angles and stuff. Hopefully I conceal it a bit and it's not TOO obvious, but every character I draw is completely flat. (continued...)

(...continued) The Akari picture on "this feels right" was originally going to be the pose Haruhi does with her arms pointing to the audience, but I couldn't make it look right. And the whole chorus has so many warping viewpoints and motions that I couldn't possibly pull it off. I'll try to continue working on my drawings, and if I ever get completely comfortable with more drawing techniques, I'll start taking more risks. ^_^ Thank you; it's always nice to find supporters AND fellow Haruhiists.

Oh, but also please don't think I'm not putting in any effort! As I've said, I am the amateur of all amateur artists, so I can't even crank out these fairly simple drawings in quick sketches like most better artists could. This is basically the limit of my talent, & I spent several hours on several different days. But I agree that if I'm going to take the time for such a project, I may as well wait for more skills to come, take weeks instead of days to perfect it, & go for as much as possible.
