I find it depressing what happens to locke in season 5. Despite the series ending with him being fine about it all, he still had show much to do, achieved so much and had so little to show for it.

John Locke, for me, has been the most inspirational TV character in the history of television. I've cried maybe only a handful of times since being a child, and all of them have been during a combination of "Locke moments" mixed perfectly with Giacchino's music. The things his character has to deal with and his general attitude how he deals with it is truly heartbreaking. I can think of so many moments when I was not only able to relate with him, but wish I could BE like him. Thanks, Locke.
