the smartest thing that "active" homosexuals ever did was turn a "lifestyle" issue into a "civil rights" issue. Our society is being corrupted by this kind of sick, twisted reasoning. Look around you folks, is it any wonder that the economy is where it's at right now? People who fool themselves into this kind of "stinkin thinkin" are only making excuses for their own faulty behavior. "active" homosexuality is a sin. period. It is un-NATURAL. C'mon people, wake UP! Sin is the problem.Always.Blesn
Homosexual tendencies are not intrinsically evil, acting upon them is. Homosexuality by definition is the behavior of a person acting upon their disorderly tendencies. ERGO: Homosexuality is intrinsically evil. Please don't water down the truth and give people the wrong impression.
Homosexuality is NOT an intrinsic evil. An active homosexual LIFESTYLE is. Be careful with your words. We Catholics aren't the only ones seeing the videos and you don't wanna give people the wrong impression.
Homosexuality means an active homosexual lifestyle; same sex attraction is what you are refering to. Homosexuality is acting on same sex attraction, where as same sex attraction is just the desire.
Little by little, Real Catholic TV is gaining an audience....I know just today, I gave out the web site to my local Diocese --- after I spoke to and gave a DVD (Catholic Traitors) to the guy in charge of Catholic Ed. in our state. He actually listened to me and gave me great hope -- the Theology is getting more concrete, with great things in the future. Also sent the web site to my local Priest, who hadn't heard of the scandal, either. Lots to do yet, but a great start.
Here's what I wonder. Are the Bishops ignorant about what's going on or is the Episcopacy in the US riddled with heretics? How could this be determined and the heretics weeded out ?
Michael, please explain to us the USCCB's relationship to the Catholic Church. Are all Catholic Bishops in the US actually members of this group? Are they, in fact, actually running the Catholic Church in the US?
Our job is to be a light in the darkness. Certainly this video exposes the dark underside of the USCCB and their interconnectedness with forces opposed to our Catholic faith.
Times are hard. Money is tight. We cannot afford to fund enemies of the church under the guise of social justice. Abortion is intrinsically evil as is homosexuality when acted out.
The odor of this abuse stinks and my money will go to legitimate causes promoting the Culture of Life and my church. Thanks for a light needed.
Went back to Sr Mary Ann's article. Where is the problem? Please point it out. What she is saying is that if you are too stupid to follow church teaching, personal conscience applies.
The problem is she glosses over life abortion in a single paragraph, and then goes on for pages about immigration reform, living wage, union, health care reform etc. etc.
The article was written in the context of the '08 election - it is not a generic piece. Where is the statement that - of the two candidates - one had a 100% pro-death voting record and one had a 100% pro-life record?
Her article was incomplete at best. Based on her other stances, why is clear.
Her article is confusing at best - and that is the real problem. Certainly, there ARE issues other than abortion. And as she says, life issues are paramount. But she deals with them in a single paragraph and then goes on about "feelings" and stuff. All her examples were Democratic party policies - there isn't a single example of life issues in her examples that might "speak to the heart" etc.
AND it has been alleged Sr. Mary Ann has been involved in OTHER issues of a heretical nature.
I must be missing something here. Why is it wrong for those people to support ideas and a party that they think is good or better than another?
Surely you are not saying that they are wrong and shouldn't support those ideas just because they don't agree with your views. Surely. This is America after all and their views are just as valid as yours. Aren't they?
I'm not religious but I would expect people who believe in the Jesus story to be wildly liberal, and socialist. Wasn't he?
And who really cares? "American" is not a blanket absolution for supporting evil.
>> their views are just as valid as yours. Aren't they?
Not in the slightest. Firstly, their views are evil and dangerous.
Secondly, their views are contrary to the Catholic Church - of which they are members. They can hold wrong views if they want, but they cannot hold views contrary to the organization they are pledged to.
>> I would expect people who believe in the Jesus story to be wildly liberal, and socialist. Wasn't he?
Jesus wasn't liberal and He wasn't socialist in the modern senses of the term at all. Read what He said and did - He is all about personal responsibility and traditional morality.
Modern liberalism is dedicated to a rejection of Christian morality (support of homosexuality, abortion, fornication etc. etc.)
Not if we give targetted donations to the wheat, rather than just throwing it all over the fields.
The Church does absolutely wonderful work with charity - she is the largest charitable giver in the world! And I am certain everyone knows a specific Church program which they KNOW is good.
So, give the money directly to a pro-life group, or a soup-kitchen, or to a priest you know does good catechesis etc.
Don't risk money going to fund pro-abortion groups. Give it to someone you trust.
Keep exposing the deceit that has been going on for decades! People, we MUST PUT AN END to the Corruption that continues. Our bishops and many clergy are taking an active part to push through their liberal and yes, (anti-Catholic) agenda. Please, SPEAK UP, STOP MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS, until we witness the return of our AUTHENTIC Catholic Teaching. WE, the people are the ONLY ones who can put an end to this, lets ALL do our part. NO MONEY IN THE BASKET, a note to "clean up their act" is better!
Keep up the good work. Faithful laity are a great encouragemen to us priests in our service to the Church. May God bless RealCatholicTV and it's ministry.
It is unfortunate the Catholic structure itself allows people to abuse the Church. When asking to express concern Michigan Mercy College allows gay groups to hold dances I was told "the Bishop is a prince of the Church and does not meet with lay people".
Hello, khildebrand...When he was Archbishop Burke of St. Louis, did meet with Michael Voris on many occasions. (Way to go, Michael!). While most of us do not have the journalist (N.B. Multiple CBS Emmy Award winning credentials), we do have a Creed to live up to and unique gifts. Christ is not happy with candles under lampstands! A good way to take action is to affirm & support the Good News of faithful priests, religious & hierarchy & is what supporting realcatholictv's mission does. +Peace+
Catholics really need to see who on earth they answer to. By the end of time, they have to answer to Christ. It's so upsetting ........ to see how people would rather follow their own logic and wisdom than that of God's.
We are suffering from a crisis of genuine ecclesial leadership. It's getting harder and harder to find a bishop who lives up to the difficult (but possible, with God's grace!) standards set by St. Paul in his pastoral epistles.
What I want to know is this... If this investigative reporter could find this damning evidence now, why didn't he do so prior to Obama's election to office so American Catholics would have had the truth before voting for him? Isn't this a little too late? To me, this seems to be something brought out now only to be used to cause more scandal for the Church. What good is this news to Americans today?
Since this information is being distributed to help the Church, you might suggest in your emails that folks pass this on to all their parishes in their respective dioceses so that pastors who don't know about RealCatholicTV can view the videos on this topic.
I not only have been watching your videos, I am a subscriber to RealCatholicTV. I have been watching your videos! I was simply asking why THIS information is being released only AFTER the fact. It's great investigative reporting but shouldn't all of this information been released before the election, not post?
>> It's great investigative reporting but shouldn't all of this information been released before the election, not post?
Do you have a time machine? :)
If you don't, then I think you will simply have to accept out explanation we did not KNOW about this then. We were concentrating on Obama's positions, thinking (somewhat foolishly, perhaps) we could trust the bishops.
We released a LOAD of information about Obama before the election. So did many groups. & Catholics ignored it
As a viewer and an informed Catholic I need to second RealCatholicTV's response. They did expose this information long before the election, and continued to. They are also correct that most Catholic's chose to ignore the information, which in my book means they are not Catholic.
My question for you is, how could you NOT have known most of this for yourself? Open your eyes and form your Christian Conscience.
Who repremands the bishops? Why is this type of apostacy allowed in the church? It's time that we stop believing that just because we are members of the Catholic Church that we can trust that everything is being run properly. We need a grassroots movement to show our disgust. How do we do this effectively?
Why does everyone feel the need to act as part of a group? Answer: Cowardice.
We don't need grassroots movements, individuals need to hold their clergy responsible. When did you last question your priest or deacon on points of faith to see where they stand? I've lost count of how many times I have said 'shame on you' to priest & nuns because they have strayed off the path. They are human and most people forget that.
The truth can be uncomfortable but that doesn't mean we should avoid it.
>> Why does everyone feel the need to act as part of a group?
Answer : Human nature.
The Church is a group.
And while individuals can do good, groups can do better - because groups are more than one individual. It is easier to ignore a dozen callers which come one by one saying "this is bad"; the bad person says "Well, you are the only person who has said this!"
So what can we do to make sure our money isn't going to support this agenda? Is our parish/diocese required to contribute toward the USCCB? How do we use our influence to clean house?
Have you brought this info to the Bishops before you sensationalized it for the public? Are these Bishops you are indicting or laypersons? Be true, but please be fair.
>> Have you brought this info to the Bishops before you sensationalized it for the public?
This is ABOUT the Bishops - we got the information from THEIR website!
And we didn't sensationalize it - it was sensationalized when heirs of the Apostles were members of an organization which supports the killing of children.
>> Are these Bishops you are indicting or laypersons?
The bishops won't clean house because if they did , can you imagine the whistle blowers that would come out of the "woodwork." Simply , this is the great apostasy . Keep up the great work Michael .

Many of the modern Jesuits are very liberal, some of them are outright heretics.

Are there more historic issues or is this just a modern phenomenon.

Fundamentally a modern issue - historically, the Jesuits were solid, faithful Catholics. Any of the slanders about them are simply that - slanders.
