Of course you can define "good" without God. Goodness is always defined by people. It depends on human biology and on the prevailing culture. What was good for the Jews of the Old Testament is certainly not considered to be good by Christians of today. What is considered good by Muslims in Iran is not the same as what is considered good by Japanese Buddhists

That preacher is an idiot, plain and simple. He can't even be argued with, since he refuses to speak in any conversationally honest form, i.e. using mutually agreed upon definitions.

His definition of "survival of the fittest" is simply false. The term is ill-chosen to begin with, but it doesn't mean what he thinks. If people kill others to gain advantage, they get punished and ostracized - ergo antisocial behavior decreases the chance of reproduction, not increases.
