Ever since I fought Izlude, when I made a new file I named the main character Izlude, just so I could kill Vormav to get that feeling of Revenge. (I killed him with Meladoul on my original file. Well second file since I had to redo my game after Weigraf screwed me over at Riovanes... bastard)

@Lloyd4687 The same happened to me. Had to play the game over because of Velius Wiegraf. In my mind he is the strongest obligatory boss I have faced, stronger than even any final boss of any other game I have played and im old school so ive beaten super ghost and ghouls and games like it.

Tactics was one of the first games that I ever beat (after Sonic the Hedgehog and Crash Bandicoot)

I still play it every now and then. I've done every side quest, learned every skill and obtained every job.

Still, every single time that I see it's time to visit the Graveyard of Ships, I start to feel sad. It's one of the best games I have ever played and I never want it to end.

Sadly, there is nothing I can do about this other than reminisce and listen to the music.

Poor Izlude. He reminds me of Rommel from WWII. Fighting along the badguys, betrayed by his own kind and put to death. This song is so peaceful, I should play it when I have trouble sleeping.

It is likely this battle was meant to be a personal theme between Ramza and Delita (if they were ever to clash, as it is used in his PSP Brave Story battles) as well as a beautiful orchestrated Piano Remix of this song in Delita's Will. Though it's clear that most people associate Izlude with the song which really only makes sense. It is because they conserve this theme, and don't abuse it that it stands out so well and adds to Izlude's character specifically.

I think this one has a theme towards Izlude "Under The Stars". He is very honorable and a very good person but he doesn't know the true ambitions of the Templars. That's why it fits so well.

Agh! Stupid, stupid Izlude! Why did he have to be such a perfect, loyal, honorable knight but on the wrong damn side? Fighting him was one of the most wrenching things I did in the game because he is a good guy, no mistake in it. He just couldn't see the zodiac braves for what they truly are and therefore fell victom to them.

Well, at the very least he went down fighting against the Lucavi. I just wish my team could have been there to back him up.

Izlude's death alone solidified Vormav in my mind as an evil cancer who had to be wiped off the face of the planet. Izlude_was_Vormav's_own_fuckin­g_SON. The Lucavi was a force of absolute corruption and had to be destroyed. Killing him was SOOOO satisfying.
