@mkdevo personally I'm the odd one out I guess as really love the original. I do like the Hendrix cover as well but...well just something as simple as the first line, the original is 'There must be some way out of here", sounds a lot better to me. Hendrix and most people after him, like Vedder here, put in the word "kind" in the middle and I don't see why. Tiny thing but the original puts the emphasis on the word "out" and I just think it sounds so much more powerful. It's the little things...
