  • go obama

  • G'day.I am a knocker, take a minute and fair go to make a video and add to your vlogging with MJ playlist about your local city too, how is it the lay out flat or full of hills,it will be more interesting for the O.S. people, remmember your videos are seen all over the world, internet is powerfull.

  • obama

hates white people..just check the youtube speechs coming from his racist hate mongering pastor...why would anyone vote for this scum bag?

  • Because they are alot smarter then you and they still believe in HOPE! for this great country. Good day.

  • Oh I get it people who hate whites are smarter then me and believe in hope...well if thats hope and enlightenment then you can shove it up your ass! Racism isn't hope its hate!

  • tru dat

  • Joemoe is clearly a racist but he thinks thats ok if the racism is against whites...sad!

  • have you noticed how many times you used the numbers 10,6,7,4&1,that is bloody scary, very repetitive, what is that on the background a dog, that scares me too.Another alf video among many.

  • I like Obama. I think its silly that ppl want to vote for Clinton because her husband was pres. I have actually heard ppl say that! Hillary is smart and she knows what we want to hear. She is an intelligent speaker but I wouln't trust her as far as I could throw her!

  • i really hope you think of other things, cause your videos certainly make you look like a nolifer.

  • You're pretty cute. You're beautiful but a little on the skinny side. You need to eat more. Yes, I'd rather denigrate you into an object than debate you on the merits of your statements. After all, I'm a conservative.

  • I take back my stupid comment. I was just being a jackass. I watched your "take me home with you " vid. and its nice to know there are still girls like you out there. anyway sorry bout that. Im serious about the obama marriage thing though.

  • I like obama but hasnt he been married 2 or 3 times. what a jackass if thats true.I like you black nails. will you marry me?

  • Hunnybunny, i realize you are talking out of your ass and have no idea what you are talking about. Obama is giving tax breaks to the middle class, yes, and highering taxes for the wealthy. And if you one of those low-minded right-winged red-necks, then you should know all too well that Bush has put us in a hole so deep that the only way to go is up. With all this said, vote Barack Obama for 2008. MelissaJenna take it away, i cant stand to talk to these mindless people.

  • You seriously need a better audio setup, girl!

  • Great way to end up on a watch list idiot.

  • u got shit for brains if ur gonna elect a person who has ties to terrorist and a guy who turns his back on the flag of the country that he wants to run thats bull shit

  • why do you want to make america more socailist with obama. You truly do not know what real freedom is.Look at the video freedom to facism.

  • You truly do not know how to spell or write sentences.

  • that's your comeback bad grammer.even though you clearly understood it,sad.

  • seriously you would give bj's. i would love to bang you.

  • what is wrong with u melissa? your a white female voting for a black male prez? who can only say change nothing else, but change? i dont get iti rather vote for McCain than obama

  • thats confusing..

    i dont get polotics

    lol

    love your hair :)

  • thats confusing..

    i dont get polotics

    lol

    love your hair :)

  • u r VERY smart! wow ... im impessed... very!!!

i wish iwas that smart!!!... i didnt get anything...

  • stop wearing clothes

  • Damn your hot!

  • Melissa!

  • hey ! listen ! stop to make this stupid videos and lets try hollywood ! u will be a great actre !

  • You've been slacking on the videos. No Super Tuesday coverage?

  • Sweetheart, have you ever heard of impartial journalism? You seem like a well-read lass, though I'm not interested in your personal opinion when you're delivering a 'recap'. The facts Ma'am, just the facts. And something else to consider as you throw all your commitment behind Obama, he is yet to be tested. As an Australian, I remember the same sentiment awash across the US when GWB was elected. Does it remain today? No. Be a little more sceptical of your representatives, it keeps them grounded

  • yes indeed, these are good looking glasses that add to the face. looks great!

  • mmmmmmmmmmmm......... "a girl in glasses"!!!!

  • I think the main reason I watch your channel is because your hot but once I listen to you your even hotter.

  • I don't think your spawn of satan but I do agree your hot especially when your mad - keep up the good work

  • your the Spawn of Satan but your hot

  • For someone who prides herself in being non-biased, I detect that's not completely true. Why is it so scarry that Ron Paul received more votes in the Iowa caucus than Rudy Giuliani? I don't get it. You wish people the best of luck regardless of which candidate they support, but say it's scarry Ron Paul beat Giuliani in the Iowa caucus? I'd expect that from Fox News, not you.

  • MJ_This might be a stupid question but what is the point of a caucus? Is it just to get a feel for where the people are in different states? And if it has nothing to do with which candidates will run in the primary? Does each state have a caucus? I live in MN, do we have one? Where can I find out?_TW

  • Ron Paul scares you..truth is scary I suppose eh?

  • Even more about the election debates and the social security thing. You're too young Melissa to remember, but when Bill Clinton became president, Hillary made a big fuss with media help about him not being enough at the left. SHE wanted to make big social security state owned in the US. Bill put her at work in his team and let her run into the wall of the Congress, so he could become free himself for his own policy.

  • What about in NH Ron Paul geting more than 18% by hand votes, and 7% by Diebolt machine ? Weird isn't it ?

What about Obama loosing election by 3% from 10% lead, all the loss coming from Diebolt machines districts ?

  • I guess we're not going to hear from you about New Hampshire?

  • I'm going to get on that today actually. I have my first day-off from work in nine days, so I'm taking a bit of a break. :) Thanks for noticing!

  • WOW... It's just really hard to believe that people would want a President that doesn't even bother to put his hand over his heart to pay respect to the flag and the country inwhich he would like to lead. Hundreds of Thousands have died for our freedom and there's no way you should expect him to honor the postion of Presidant when he doesn't honor the symbol of the USA. Goodluck with that but I honestly don't know how you sleep at night when you support such a man. Go ISLAM!!! "NOT"

  • You're a subhuman idiot, please kill yourself before you breed and pass on your defective "thinking" to future generations. Thanks! :)

  • I'll get right on that thanks ;)

  • Although I agree with you that his comment was ridiculous, words like those that you used don't facilitate change in an individual. I might feel bitter towards people like that, but I find that if I temper that bitterness with patience and a desire for finding a middle-ground, that more often than not we can diffuse the situation and actually like each other in the end.

  • Of course, some people are just aggressive for the sake of being aggressive, and those people aren't really looking for an honest discussion.

  • can we talk?

  • If Kucinich and Richardson truly was teaming up behind a candidate they believe in (like the Melissa-quote: "Good for them!") then why the heck did they run in the first place?

Ok. So this is cute, but most of what you do is based on simply stating something without making an argument. For example; Why does it scare you that Ron Paul got 10 percent in Iowa? If you like Obama so much you should applaude THE ONLY Republican who opposed the war...

  • There are many other things to be concerned about in addition to our war in Iraq; this election isn't just about the war to me, otherwise I might agree with you.

  • I agree with the election not being about war. It shouldn't be but the media has made it that way. So I suppose people vote with that in mind even if it's out of debate. So in fact I think the candidates must clearly explain deeply their own opinion and doing (like Ron Paul) instead of playing on the anti-Bush wave without telling anything clearly about themselves (Clinton).

  • well well well, aren't the comments getting heated. here in australia, im still too pleased about the results of our election to get into the american one. although elections always do make good entertainment.

  • i like your teeth

  • I'm in love.

  • You are, so cute..

  • Obama supporters aren't doing Obama a favor by playing the race card whenever he is faced with criticism or someone points out his background.

At the end of the day, I don't think Obama can win a national election. I don't think most people will abandon their personal interests just for the sake of having a black president.

  • Osama...oops I mean obama is just all hype. Lots of smiles, waving to the crowd and giving cliche speeches about "the people can make america great again..." blah blah blah. It's all hype and hope. Where as ron paul talks about specifics like the loss of liberty, freedoms, economic and foreign policies and how it impacts on everyone. That's what makes him so different to every other candidate. It's honesty in detail that I don't hear from any other candidate.

  • itubeutude,

The first sentence of your statement just reveals yourself to be not worth listening to and a racist moron. Don't add your opinions, please. It just dumbs us down and exposes you as a fool, ruining your Ron Paul soapbox.

  • Ron Paul is the only candidate that doesn't scare me. Why? Because what ever dumb shit the US does, the rest of the west has to suffer.

  • Why would Ron Paul scare you? Why don't you include any thinking about what about his policy is scary? Are you fearful of not having an IRS or a Fed. Are you strangely soothed by these organizations? Are you proud of the Iraq war and our incredible achievements over there?

    BTW... Ron Paul 2008!-)

  • Haha, nicely said. Ron Paul in '08!

  • No. No. Rue Paul in '08!!!

  • The reason why most people will vote for Obama is that they are really seeking for tolerance throughout America, tolerance in the White House especially. I want tolerance and equal rights too so thats why I'm voting for Ron Paul. Freedom for everybody under the Constitution of America.

  • It could be the tea. Melissa, don't drink to much tea!

  • When are you going to talk to us about your stress induced tummy ache? I'm still eagerly waiting for that story.

  • It's not replying to the posts I clicked "Reply" on. :\

  • me neither.

  • I'm sorry you guys! I hope it gets fixed soon!

  • Regarding Huckabee, I can pinpoint why he won: Iowa is full of evangelicals [approximately 65% by some polls], and evangelicals tend to flock like sheep to support a candidate who claims to be an evangelical, rather than actually looking at the issues and finding out where the candidate stands. That's why Bush was re-elected in 2004.

Congrats on your candidate's win. Hopefully mine will be his opponent in November, and we can have an international debate over US politics. hahaha ;o)

  • It is nice to see Obama in the lead rather than Hillary. He's looking more like the guy who sparked up the primary in 04. However, all candidates should discuss the highly questionable role of the federal reserve banking system. This is an important key to real transformation. I have yet to hear Obama speak about it.

  • The ONLY reason i am watching you is because your pretty.

  • I wish I was Barrack, I would dump my wife for this hot blond. But your right the Abc news facebook debate on Saturday showed that Barrack and Edwards were teaming up against Hillary. Hillary still has a huge delegate advantage. Barrack has momentum, if he wins New Hamshire I think theres a 50 percent chance he wins the democratic nomination

  • Great video! A friend of mine quit his (well-paying) job in NYC to move to Iowa in order to work on Obama's campaign. Although I'm still conflicted about my choice for the Dems, I was glad for him and others who had worked so hard to make it happen. On a totally unrelated note, I started making vids, inspired by you and other intelligent female YouTubers. I'm still struggling with teh mechanics of it all, but I'd love if you checked it out!

  • Yikes thumbs down! I wasn't spamming, I swear, I've commented on Melissa's videos before and they're my fav. I was suggesting it to Melissa, not to everyone, though I now see it looks that way. Anyway, sorry for the breach of YouTube-etiquette. !!

  • *I* know you're not spamming :)

  • you are all slaves to the media!!!!! and your wives!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't support Obama and I thought I would initially. But is voting record is comprised of mostly Non-Votes for anything of importance. Additionally, he appears to be pro partial-birth abortions, anti-death penalty, anti-gun ownership, and pro-illegal immigrant citizenships. He does have points I agree with as well (energy, education, stem-cells), but they are not enough for a vote.

  • I love the nerdy bookworm types.

  • what do you think about a racist running on a 19th century platform (Ron Paul)

  • The person that wrote that article wrote it on uncorraborated evidence and the New York Times actually wrote a retraction about the lies that reads "The original post should not have been published with these unverified assertions and without any response from Paul. "

  • you deserve to put a little cnn sign at the bottom corner of the screen

  • Can I just say that you americans deserve what you get. People are more concerned with personalities than actual substance. I bet most of you morons have actually no idea what the differences between the parties are or what they stand for. All you people do is support each senator like your football teams. Picking up on some personaly traits that you like or dislike or some newspaper snippet that swayed your judgement without really knowing the facts.

  • John Edwards can still pull in first! I think the people behind the scenes aren't going to allow a black man or a woman become president, even in this day and age. As far as Republicans go, lol at those fanatic Ron Paul zealots saying he'll come out on top. Sure I want him to win too, but I stay realistic with it. Huckabee is better than Romney or Giuliani, so that's fine by me.

  • maicmoon, bra, i really like john & i think he's right about the corrosive power corporations - but he won't win.

obama has shown, is showing and will continue to show that, in fact, "the torch has been passed" to a new, hopeful and better generation of americans who, in spite of your cynical pronouncements, look at the content of character more than the color of skin.

mlk had a dream, & it was obama in '08

  • I'll admit, I was pretty surprised Rudy finished so low. We'll see how tonight's debates affect things.

  • fuckin stupid video

  • You prefer rudy to ron paul??

  • cute, but not a whole lot going on upstairs

  • Melissa - I had the exact same reaction as you did to Ron Paul. Keep up the vids throughout the campaign!

  • oh, just wanted to add one more reccommendation

please read "the creature from jeckyll island" by g. edward griifin, a book concerning the creation of the federal reserve system. thank you ps i subscribed

  • it's amazes me that more people aren't getting upset that the dollar has lost so much value in the last 3 months alone. you can clearly feel the effect from the price of oil, which raises the price of everything.

i don't even think the vast majority of americans, including mellisa, knows how a debt montary system functions.

  • "i don't even think the vast majority of americans, including mellisa, knows how a debt montary system functions."

I think you should specifically add most politicians to that list.

  • melissa, nothing will change until the private international central banking system is dissolved. the private control and issuance of our currency is the root of all problems in the world today. please i beg you google or youtube"america freedom to fascism" and 'the moneymasters" and "fiat empire". until you understand the privately owned money system operating thru central banks in all countries, you can not understand the current political climate situation

  • sorry, the agreed was to holden 190.

  • whats funny is that mel thinks obama could win. I personally haven't decided on who I'll vote for, but it'll be for a democrat.and theres no way obama could win against the republican attack machine. Can you imagaine all the osama obama cracks? and I know theres some that say people won't be dumb enough to be swayed by such a comment.well thats where you're wrong. people voted for bush twice.the general intelligence of the american voter isn't very high.SADLY.

    p.s. wheres the side bewb?

  • Is that you singing in the beginning :) ?

I like Obama, but I don't think he's electible unfortunately.

Don't like Hilary, so I guess Edwards is my choice.

    What do you think, Melissa?

  • agreed

  • I think we all know that Huckabee didn't win Iowa... Chuck Norris did.

  • There is always some kind balancing choice to the previous election.

I think that the american people may not vote for a guy like Huckabee, only the republicans.

This means it has to be Romney or Giuliani or Mc Cain. The best choice would be Giuliani. I am quite convinced of that because he represents very much the less partisan candidate and also the most experienced and he already proved he is an active and efficient ruler.

There is no way Mrs Clinton or Mr Obama are that person.

  • and btw, have you read about the people giuliani has advising him on foreign policy??? norman podhoretz, kim holmes, peter berkowitz. giuliani would make george w bush look like mahatma ghandi. do some research on these hawkish neo cons and then you would realize they wouldn't hesitate to start world war 3.

now that's scary! honestly, i'm still in such utter disbelief about your comment.

  • you're less boring then I remember. Actually quite good.

  • Hillary Clinton is the best person as the next president. She is a very popular first lady that turned senator. Hillary is making history and we should stand behind her.

VOTE 4 HILLARY OR YOUR A FOOL

  • Actually, it's "Vote for Hillary or YOU'RE a fool." Pssssh.

  • I seem to recall her becoming popular after her husband got caught diddling an intern.

  • im from uk, what is a caucus, is it a county or a township

  • A caucus isn't a proper "primary," it's more of a formalized meeting of candidates' supporters within congressional districts. Congressional districts are drawn often without regard to county lines or townships, making them pretty ambiguous. The whole thing is kind of a mess, in my opinion.

  • Good review.

  • Republicans making Hillary as the candidate to beat?It is the criminal liberal drive by media who are making it out that Hillary is automatically entitled to win just because she is Bill Clinton's wife.

  • i miss your old happy vids

  • That was quite a historic event in Iowa!

  • So wait is he prez?

    Sorry I am canadian. xD

    Also only 14.

  • A bit daft is what you are.

  • no bra, these are the "primaries" where each party selects a "nominee" (evil republicans & virtuous demoncrats) who will then run against one another in the "general election" held in nov.

  • 10 Million? That's scary.

I'm glad Obama won. I don't like Huckabee's positions on mostly everything, but the whole Chuck Norris thing is funny. :D

  • Ron Paul getting 10% scares you? Why?

    Rudy Guiliani Scares me......

    and valley girls

    side note:

And from now on how about you just don't list off what every paper and tv show are saying which we all know already and make some of your own opinions!!!!!

  • Ron Paul is on the nutty side just a little; radical ideas about federal departments, foreign policy, trade, taxes... conclusion scary.

  • Hey man wake up........

Look back to Reagan and Taft or even Bush's 2000 foreign.

All others have radical veiws on foreign policy, you've been had, you've been feed RADICAL veiws threw media and you don't even know it.WAKE UP I did

    Ask yourself these two things:

    1) Where do I get all of my information from?

    2) Why do I trust it? 1,2,or3 places you need to step up man.

TV doesn't count, to many agendas...

    BBC,Guardian,CNN,LA TIMES,NY TIMES,WASH POST,ASSOCIATED PRESS,GALLUP,etc.

  • yo bra, you guys are like a cult than a real movement.

i mean yo, with conspiracy theories about the press, assertions that only you guys are "awake" while everyone who disagrees with you have "been had" and needs to "wake-up."

and bro, it is the irrational, self-delusion en-mass masquerading as politics - not rational and not sensible, not even inspirational & a magnet for the lunatic fringe bra.

oh yeah, where did I get my views about ron paul? ... ron paul's mouth.

    Barack Obama for `08

  • Cult? A bit rash don't you think? I would say passionate about civil liberty, peace and our economy. Stop polarizing supporters of candidates you don't like.

  • yo bkonz, i wasn't rash - i was specific.

i justified my assertion by specifically naming the "cultish" characteristics of "chaostherie's" post, whom i was addressing.

do you frequently see these traits in RP supporters? in a word, "yup."

don't get mad at me bra. it's not about like or dislike, i'm just an observer.

btw, the existence of a cult nature does not omit the existence of the passionate.

  • It was a good video, good for you for a change, it had a begining, middle and an end and you stayed focus on the same subject.Much better than the crazy jumping, dancing crap etc. However you can't count victory until the end, like in the 2000 election it went all the way to the Supreme Court to decide whom was going to be next president.Last hope it doesn't end up in court this time.

  • If Obama wins New Hampshire look for the supposed dirt that Hillary has on him (according to a column from Bob Novak) to ooze out via a surrogate. Yeah sure, it may backfire, but at that point Hillary will likely be in panic mode.

P.S. Don't count Rudy out just yet. He didn't campaign in Iowa, and delegate rich states like Florida and New York are still likely to go his way.

  • Yay MelissaJenna! Thanks for the awesome recap!

  • Thanks for the recap! I had to miss it because my wife fell and sprained her knee and I had to take her to the hospital. This was a great win for our side! I agree that Edwards would make a great running mate for Obama, although I'd love to see him run with Kucinich. Also, Ron Paul scares me too. Have you ever seen V For Vendetta? He reminds me too much of Adam Sutler. Unfortunately, I live in an area where he gets a lot of support. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing!

  • I'm sorry to hear about your wife- I do hope she's feeling better! Thanks for the comment!

  • She is doing a lot better. She's already walking on it and everything.

  • What's so scary about Dr Paul doing so well? I've always been a Paul supporter, but perhaps you should consider this leading Obama supporter's view: obamala DOT com.

Also, how the heck can you justify "really liking" John McCain given that you support Obama? Have you NO principles? McCain is on the record as saying he will be in Iraq till we "win" (Whatever THAT means...), even if it takes _100_ years!

  • obviously you dont understand what the republican party's roots are

  • What do you think is going to happen with Texas?

  • Thanks

I really needed to know that, seeing as how I've been busy with getting the house ready for rennovation.

  • Nicely said, Melissa, and GREAT recap. I didn't know you liked John McCain-good for you! I'm partial to Ron Paul myself, but I'm a Dem and I'm throwing my energy behind John Edwards. Obama is my second choice, but my heart belongs to my #1 man John Edwards :-) Way to go, girl, and again, nicely nicely done.

  • I have no idea who to support in this race. I classify myself as a conservative republican, but to be honest i don't like any of the candidates. I may not even vote this year because of it.

  • Hello there!

If you are a REAL conservative Republican (not just a Republican in name only), you will probably appreciate this youtube:

    watch?v=sFg488AkmaE

I'd be happy to talk to you about the issues, to clarify whatever aspects with which you may have a problem.

  • I was so excited to see that Obama won in Iowa. I've been campaigning for him ever since you told me about my (dot) barackobama (dot) com.

    Thanks again Melissa!

  • Okay, found the name! Donnie McClurkin. Seriously wanting you opinion on that one.

  • I've been wondering what you think about something, but I forgot the details, so pardon the vague-ness of my question. What do you think of that guy Obama has helping him who's an evangelical homophobe? See, I told you...very poorly phrased. I'll look it up.

  • obama just won in a 95% white state...wow

  • Why does Ron Paul's getting 10% scare you? Please clarify.

  • Two words: Gold standard. Really!?

  • Competing currencies. Steve Forbes advocated that when he ran for president and he was a top tier candidate.

  • Oh, and Alan Greenspan was pro-gold standard as well.

  • federal reserve, honestly? if you haven't noticed, the feds have devalued the dollar by almost 25% in the last 2 years. that's why oil is $100 a barrel and everyone in america is poorer than they were a couple years back.

seriously, are you utterly clueless and only get your news from cnn?

  • Monetary policy must be confusing to you if you think the gold standard is scary. Our privately owned "Fractional-reserve" banking system entails our government initially loaning money at interest and proceeds to make us take out more and more loans to pay off the previos loans and interest. Kinda like paying off credit cards with other credit cards. It's bad policy plain and simple.

  • HILARY WAS ROBBED!!!!

  • Ill tell you why. People are scared of voting for mormons. I dont know why but I thinks it more that people dont want to vote for MITT and just vote for second best person.

  • Scared? Sister, Ron Paul has over thirty years experience in politics, medicine and economics. Obama is a newbie.

Other than that, congrats. As far as I'm concerned I would like the president to be anyone but Hillary. Even hippie Kucinich.

  • im leaning towards mckain for the republican side because he seems to have more sense in life than all the otehr candidates. i wish everyone would stop pushing the gender and race card for the election as well.

  • Can't we get cheerleaders at the Caucus' to make then more exciting ;)

I don't know why all the Caucus' / Primaries / whatever for each state cannot be on one day. You are only 2% of the way through the voting process to even get to an election and the world is already trying to call the winner!

    James

  • I'm glad to see that Obama beat Clinton.

I do wonder why you are surprised by Guliani's loss. I can't see why anyone thinks he did a good job during 9/11. He actually failed at his job in several ways. Foremost was the fact that he was responsible for not providing funding to replace the faulty radios of the firefighters that ended up trapped in the tower... which led to their avoidable deaths.

  • He was also solely responsible for housing the Office of Emergency Management inside of the World Trade Center AFTER it was already shown to be a terrorist target in the 1993 bombing.

  • Ron Paul or Barack Obama = a real change in America.

  • Hunter Thompson? He's dead and was an author. It's Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter who are lagging candidates on the GOP side. As was said before, Giuliani did not campaign in Iowa, he wrote it off completely. He's ignored NH for the most part as well. His performance yesterday isn't surprising at all.

  • She likes to run her mouth and she doesn't know what she's talking about most of the time. Please for give her. Mike for the FairTax!!! Obama sucks!!!

  • It's "forgive," and if either of you read the description of the video you would have seen my correction. Next time try looking before you speak.

  • I have to admit, I'm burning with curiosity as to why Ron Paul getting 10% and Guiliani getting 4% "scares" you.

  • The reason Guliani didn't recieve many votes in Iowa was that Guliani didn't spend much time or finances in Iowa because he was more focused on the states with larger delegates (i.e. Florida). It's great to see Obama win, but as you can see, the number of delegates that Obama won, over that of Edwards and Clinton were negligible. We must see how New Hampshire and South Carolina does, to determine the front runners in both primaries. Great video, I can't wait to see more!

  • For all the effort Giuliani has made in New Hampshire, he's doing pretty mediocre on the polls.

  • What do you think about Ron paul?!?

  • you look kind of fake...

  • Ouch. I seen some of your videos. Didn't really get it at first but think I understand now. It takes alot of courage to do implement your ideas. An uncertain future. I don't think people are that brave. Please don't you rock my boat.

  • sorry, i really shouldn't have said that commment.

  • Your right. You shouldn't have.
