I used to play this all the time. I always got to the last level with like 6 balls, then lost them all trying to get the emerald in the first chamber. Even now, it's the same old story. =\

If you were to truly complete this game though, you'd need to complete all the bonuses and the multi-ball stage.

This game is hard as hell, I never beat Showdown without savestates when it was released for the PS2. Took me forever to get good at some of the later bonus stages too, the accuracy needed for the teeth one if you got bad positioning for the last one was ridiculous.

The music for it was great though, loved the theme for The Machine.
