Guys, MAS and SIA were one entity. Then they separated, so it's not a big deal if people often accuse them of copying each other. It's like you learn biology when one cell separates or doubles, both new cells still have same traits :) PEACE!

Its seriously fucking hillarious to see 2 airline fans fighting over which airline is the best. Im Malaysian and from my Point of view, the staff friendliness, best cabin crew does go to Malaysia Airlines, functions and larger and more spacious seats go to Singapore. Just because SIA came out with the A380 first, doesnt mean its the best. And they got the award through Skytrax which are from passengers themselves.

Your totally right that even if they just recieved the first A380 doesnt mean they are the best, some airlines can even improve better than them like Korean Air. Korean Air has the newest technology based on IFE their screen monitors might be small but has the lates touch-screen in the sky. I flew with CX months ago and I did like it a liitle but KE s still the best

Stop the dispute! Both airlines have copied from each other, plus, when MSA seperated into Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines took all the good planes! (Boeing 747 and 707) It left Malaysia Airlines with the Fokker F27's. Obviously it would take Malaysia Airlines a longer time to develop itself!

SIA is the first in the world to roll out free inflight services onboard. Stupid mas was still in IATA, required to serve sandwiches that are exactly 50mm thick so SIA resign frm IATA, gave out free food, free drinks and headset. Also the first in the world is change planes every 5 years and sell the whole 10 lot of them before buying 10 new with another 10 on option. See how fking mas copy???

I don't think so, mate. Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is indeed the best - the cabin crews, the cabin and the punctuality just to name a few. I am wondering if you are biased in making the statement but I believe you have had a bad experience with MAS though. Whatever, I hope the journey from LHR-KUL will be shortened by an impressive margin :P

Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. For me I think Singapore airlines is better then Malaysia. MAS crews are nothing compared to SQ. SQ grooming, uniform, service is at a very high standard. Singapore is an innovator. They can't be beat.

I totally agree, SQ always comes up with the latest innovations that other airlines will try to copy, I have yet to see any other airlines do the same.

Emirates and Qatar Airways have similar features too but SQ will never fail to surprise us with the best in terms of service and innovations. Just look at the latest B777-ER, the seats are unbelievable!!!
