  • @Stuffboy13

last time I check my spending was at $23k but lost count, I still need to finish the interior with a little more fancy option and re-do the paint I'm guessing another $8k.

  • Very Nice!! Wanna sell??

  • @MyBMW840ci

If someone come and offer me $40k yes : )

  • I'm thinking about getting the StarDrive Keyless Ignition. How is the system working for you so far?

  • @mofovo

so far good, love it. : )

  • @Majorreflexes

  • how much do u want for it........

  • Thanks... I wish I had my car in a rotisserie. would it be so much easier to work on it,

specially when welding, and I could it avoided on the painful burns : )

anyways, good luck with your coupe, should be an awesome when done : )

  • Literally, EXACTLY the car I would love to drive every day. But for now I've gotta stick with my '68 coupe, which is currently on a rotisserie in my barn right now, haha. I how to get a fraction close to what you have there when I'm done with my coupe. Again, beautiful ride!!!

  • @TheJZA94

the fronts wheels are for 68 mustang got them of e-bay the (offset +12mm 0.47'')

the rear 17x11 come off a "99 svt cobra" I don't now the offset on those, but I change to 18x10 wheels and they are also for 99 svt cobra got them from "america muscle" the offset is (+24mm. 0.9'') : )

  • Very nice

  • Read all the pages on the forum, must say you are crazy. I wish I had half the ability and money to attempt something like this. My dream is a restored late 60's with the reliability of a modern drive train.

Did you end up repainting the entire car again after the spray gun was messed up and you painted it anyways? By sequence of photos on the forum it seemed like you went back down to primer?

  • @aquill1

yes I re-painted it again, but I'm not satisfy how it came out, as it is hard to get a quality

paint job doind it in a garage, for now is a temporary paint.

  • @addozasvt

Thought so. Are you going to stick to that color or change it? I personally love kona blue, wonder how it'd look on a 68?

    Good job either way.

  • @aquill1

    thanks

yes I'm keeping the same color.

I have no idea what is the kona blue? is that a darker or lighter blue?

I just added white stripes to the side just to see what it looks so far is ok.

  • @addozasvt

If you google kona blue you will get an idea but its hard to find a good pic of it. Your best bet is go find a kona blue mustang at a local dealer, when clean the color is nearly indescribable.

  • thanks..

bought it off of e-bay and went to pick it up at michigan and end up in sac. california.

  • nicceee, sooooo beautifulllll, where did you get the 68 body?
