faders are all user replaceable.All you need is a little phillips head to replace them and the little allen wrench that comes with it to take off the mixers face plate.takes 5 minutes.

it looks nice but it fucken sucks! i am not much of a scratcher . what happend to running it with other software's and using it with some sound effects! this dosentt have much to offer but scratch and one software? fuck that, for high price and limit to do things i dont think so!

It's a full MIDI controller that can be used with other software. Before you trash the NS7, you should find out more about it. It's not at all limited and as for a high price, exchange rates, import duty and taxes (in some countries) make it seem a little expensive right now.

well from what i heard from the numark people!!!! you could or maybe run the ns7 with other software but you will not be able to use the full functionalty of the software, and they said it was specificly desing for scratch!!! so if you know you can run it with other programs you are on your way to be rich because no one has done it where it works 100% with other softwares dum fuck!

Thanks, that's just what I've come to expect from making a point to someone online - petty name calling! Just because someone has a little more information than you do, there's no need to insult people!

FYI, I have been in this industry for over 22 years and work on the inside. The ability to use the controller 100% was not what you originally said - you said "what happend to running it with other software's" and I pointed out that soon, you will be able to do that, so who's being "dumb"?

This shit is so tight. The only concern I have is if one component malfunctions then you need to replace the whole unit..... where as if you had the traditional setup you would only need to replace the component that malfunctions. At $1,200 a unit that could be a disaster.

That was exactly what I thought... if you screw up a fader on this one, it's a lot more annoying than if you have a separate mixer.

Also, as a former Traktor user, I am still waiting to hear whether it is compatible... Numark said that they are working with other manufacturers to ensure software compatibility, but I have not yet heard anything definitive concerning Traktor.

I was at NAMM last week and i spoke to a spokesman for numark and NS7 is out in about 2 to 3 weeks! so excited. i got to mess with it!
