they should let those who only need one revolver with a reload to shoot as well. so 10 rounds are fired from the single gun. having to carry two revolvers is a little to much for those who would rather reload reguardless of time. would like to know if you think this could be worked in SASS rules.

Do you use the Winchester 1887 lever action shotgun? When did the pumps come out? Seems like the double barrel and the lever action were the popular shotguns during the 1800's.

pump guns first showed up in the mid 1880s. Spencer built the first shotguns and colt the first rifles, to compete with winchester.
