  • It's like the film makers have gone 'beat that!' when they filmed and edited this. Has there been a better waltz in a film since? Doubt it.

  • 'The Slipper and The Rose' will be shown on t.v today for people living in the UK. Channel 5 # 16:20.

  • This waltz is so beautiful, it looks like she's on wheels instead of on her feet!

  • I love this

  • This is a GORGEOUS waltz.

I was an usher at Radio City Music Hall when this movie played. It was the Christmas show.

  • I am sooooo envious of Cinderella in this scene! I would love to play this scene with handsome Richard Chamberlain! All of the actors are great!! Especially Cinderella and Prince Edward! BEST MOVIE EVER!

  • I LOVE This Movie.....I Love the song they play here, then again when John sees her dancing with the slipper.........Rainbows raced around the room when he danced with me!!! I'm a sucker for romance!!! The best Cinderella movie ever made!! Thanks for posting.

  • When I was little, I thought "Incognita" was an actual name X)

  • I love it when the King takes hold of the Chamberlain's Staff of Office, removes the cap, pulls out the hidden shot of brandy and just gulps it! Then he replaces the shot, puts on the cap sloppily and dismisses the Chamberlain! Too funny!

  • my favourite movie of al time. thank you so damn much for posting! :)

  • I love the way he looks at her when she walks in. Just utter love and wow!

  • I LOVE this movie :)))))

  • oh i wish id been gemma craven

  • I LOVE watching this waltz!

  • my favorite movie.... when I got married I origanally wanted a plain dress... then the lady brought out this dress that was sooo like the one worn here... it was the sleeves that did me in......

  • I think my favorite part is even before Cinderella walks in, the music building makes me think of a flower opening.

  • Wow....this is goregeous ;)

  • I LOVE this film

  • Always considered this the most magical scene in the film because of the staging and stunning choreography of the film: The way the prince and Cinderella first tentatively circle each other segues into a grand waltz, then as the tempo increases couples join in, almost magically, in twos and fours until all are waltzing in one huge circle showing off the wonderful pastel gowns. A positively gorgeous scene.

  • It bring back all the memory and felling that I have when I saw it many years ago. It is sad that don't make movie like that any more

  • @jdbbrz You have to get the CD off of ebay. That's what I did. Then you can download it onto your computer, and from there to your ipod or iphone.

  • Vi esta película cuando era niña y reencontrarla ha sido un auténtico placer... Me sigue enamorando su música y por supuesto Richard Chamberlain.... Por favor, sabe alguien si está traducida o subtitulada en español?

  • Thank you, thank you so much for posting this. I used to watch it often as a child and had forgotten how much I loved this film. It should be remastered and rereleased. The actors, music, costumes, humour - not often see - such a magical production I can't believe I have found it and can watch again....Thank you.

  • Learnt of this movie from Frost/Nixon...interesting that David went and saw the premier this before his interview with Richard Nixon. Couldn't be more contridictory.

  • When Gemma Craven had to act this scene, they asked her to think of her favourite thing! - Ice Cream!!!

  • You've just made my day :D

This piece of music always moves me, I just wish I knew where to download it.

  • The entire soundtrack is available for download on itunes. I'm also trying to find out if anyone knows how to go about allowing legal purchases of music/videos, so I can provide both for the website. If you know of anyone who can help, please have them e-mail me... if not, help spread the word?

  • Well i found a full version copy of the video by searching throu bit torrent. Then just copied it to dvd. i still have it i could email the copy to you.

  • No need. I'm the owner of this account. I just want to go through the proper legal sources to sell it on the website for legal downloads. Thank you though.

  • @Ajax0407 This piece of music is on I Tunes type in The Slipper and the Rose and the artist's name is Angela Morley, hope it works

  • I mean that one girl was partnered they danced then another girl was partnered then they danced and so on.They were also introduced while they sood at the top of the stairs. I should post my entrance. I will have to find the DVD now!

  • Wow, that's so cool!!! I would love to be part of something like that!

  • I did it last year, for my yr12 deb ball, the dance teacher taught it to us. why? because the place the ball was held at had a staircase where the girls would be presented to their partners. as they stood at the top of the staicase a spotlight was put on them and that music began as the girls decended the stairs one by one. Everyone had their solo of that dance then when all of us were partnered the group part of that dance began.

  • but by the time it all ended everyone was sick of that song. it was an awsome and unforgettable night though. I have it on DVD, but I dont want to post it because I dont have all the other girls permission

  • I did this dance at my debutant ball.

  • Really? That is so cool! Is it a specific dance, or was it something you learned? When/why did you do a debutant ball?

  • @littlelotty004 Ahh your so Lucky!!
