Does anyone else here wish the Denver Zoo here had giant pandas? I do, This is why I call them the panda-less ZOO. And if anyone else out there wishes for giant pandas out there you would call them the panda-less zoo too.
The problem with pandas is that it cost the zoo lots of money (I believe it's a million or so) just to keep pandas. That's not including food, veterinary care, or anything else they might need. That money is just to pay the Chinese government because they own all of the pandas. The pandas you see in our zoos are simply on loan. I agree it would be nice to see more pandas, but I don't think it will happen. =/
Thats so cool, I go there all the time(check out my videos of the Denver Zoo Wolves) and I heard my very first wolf howl in person at the denver Zoo, that was so cool!
on the website it says "artic tundra" i believe this is the farthest thing from an artic climate there is!

I have been to the zoo many times, and I have never been able to see the wolves, let alone hear them. You are very blessed indeed!

This is great! I was at the Denver Zoo several days ago and they were all sleeping. That's great that you were able to see them doing a chorus howl.
