BOSTON IN THE DEEEEEEP. YOU ALMOST DROWNED DOWN THERE, IN THE DEE-EEP, JUST TO GET, A RI-I-ING!! BOSTON, THAT IS A STORY TO BE TOLD. (oh oh ohhhh) DIVING DOWN IN THE DEEP JUST TO GET A COLORED RING. (oh oh ohhhhh) THINK OF THE BOSTON IN THE DEPTHS OF THE POOL DOWN THERE. GETTING A RING AND HE MIGHT HAVE NEARLY DIED. YOU'RE GONNA WISH YOU... NEVER WENT DOWN THERE.
snopes.com/medical/disease/drydrowning.asp It wouldn't let me post the whole link. You can look that up to the person that wanted to know about dry drowning.
I have owned Boston for 20 years. And this makes me feel very uncomfortable.
I want a boston terrier so bad! I saw it at a pet shop and it kept nibbling at my hand and playing with me I just loved it! But my mom wont let me get it :(
@shroomingnewman breeding shouldn't be done unless you are gonna breed 2 or 3 and iwhen the pups are born there is a safe loving home for them. to many dogs are in shelters or are put down.
i like the two at the end in a way it looks like they are helping the other but this is whats going thru their minds. "give me the damn ring, give it to me now".
oh my god it's eyes are so freaky while it's underwater!!! I wonder if that's how they cope with the water in their eyes? I was going to get a BT, but the person we were trying to buy it from turned out to be a scammer (luckily we caught them out before paying anything) and I am the owner to a beautiful pug :) our first one unfortunately died at only a year old, but Pepper, our current pug, is 6 months old and going strong :)
That is just hilarious...leave it to a Boston to be able to do that!! We just lost our beloved Boston after 11 wonderful years with him...his name was Paco...sure do miss that little guy!
Please read about "Dry Drowning". It can take the life of people easy and dogs very easy.
Basically a person or dog gets a little water in the lungs. It does not take much. The water displaces the air and you do not have enough oxygen. If a person or dog ever feels extremely "tired" after swimming or swallowing water rush them to the ER. If they go to take a nap they can & do die in their sleep. It is a real thing that is more common than you think.
thats sooooo amazing!!!!!!!!! i have 2 bostons. my younger one hasnt been around the water yet and i wish my older one would want to swim! (her butt pulls her down thus she's afraid)
awesome!!! my Boston loves to swim, but she doesn't dive. she did jump off a 6ft high deck after a ball once, so maybe she would dive, i'm going to try it!!
My boston loves to swim! He's only 7 months and out swam another dog in the lake the other day while fetching a tennis ball. I can't wait to see if he starts diving!
lol i threw my boy BT in my pool and he was like running one the water trying to get out of it... then i threw my girl BT in and she stayed swimmin for 10 mins before she came to the side... she rested for 10 mins and dove back in.... lol on halloween she would sit by the pool.. everyone thought it was fake .... she scared the shit out of this kids mom.. she fell in ....LMAO... we quit givin out kandy
How brilliant is that.I live in U.K, and have a bt boy named Mowgli and Soooo want to get him a friend but have been advised not to...booo.I've never had just 1 doggie, I thought they all liked pals....what does anyone think?
I just got my boston a few months ago. He was a rescue. Yesterday I took him for a swim in a lake and he dove for a stick. I have never seen a dog do that before.
How did you manage that?! I've got a little clip of my Boston trying to paddle while being held just above the water, she's too scared to swim on her own. I wish she'd dive for stuff, best trick ever!
I have two, my aunt and uncle have two, and my mom has three. I don't remember any of us having extraordinary difficulty house training. That said, they will use the bathroom in the house occasionally when they're pups and you have to be on constant watch when they're pups, especially after they eat/drink. I'd suggest getting a kennel/crate to keep the pup in when you can't watch them, so if the pup does "mess up", it will be in the kennel/crate. They are great dogs & I hope you get to get

Stop trying to scare people you nut.
superduper4302 2 years ago
Just do a search for "dry drowning" and then see who the nut is.
If people can die from drowning while not even in the water why can't an animal?
Are animals smarter than humans?
