I think the opening for the oathleeper is a bit to big, but other than that, AMAZING JOB!!!! Im getting my first metal keyblade in a couple days (Sleeping lion). :D Im gonna make some foam ones in the future and get some costumes so i can go to cons! :D Even though im kinda young, it doesn't really matter then it comes to cosplaying, cosplay is ment to have fun and not ruin any of it for others. :D

@GingerAnne I have a question, I'm making the Kingdom Key, and I'm using Cardboard for the Key, and Hilt. But if I Spray Paint it, won't the paint soak through the Cardboard? This is Triple-Layer Cardboard, so I know its Durable. But I just don't know if the Cardboard will with-stand the pressure of paint and layers I will put on it.

@beastboy899 Hi Beastboy :) It shouldn't do anything bad to the cardboard but the paint may chip off over time. What you can do is use this stuff that I use. It's called Mod Podge (Gloss-Lustre). What that does is seal up any area and you can even put it over the paint for extra protection. It works great for all sorts of things. Good luck and have fun. :)

i think im in love lol jk i WOW a few years ago i made a homemade Kingdom key out of syrafoam and it turned out amazing (for being only 13 when i attempted it) but kept breaking :| so thought...wood! this is an inspiring video and i will either try to make the Oathkeeper and Oblivian or buy them from u! also this video helps me by showing the lil details i couldnt quit make out so thanx!

@jonny5312 Try using spray paint Jonny. For full large areas to cover, use spray paint. You will get a nice smooth solid surface with it. That way you don't get messy brush strokes in case you don't think you are good with a brush. Plus, spray paint is quicker and easier to use. Just be sure to practice with it on some cardboard before using on your keyblade. Oh and use a primer first. Good luck!! show me when it's done. n_n kay?

Probably black or eny other dark colour, mostly gonna use blue/black for the body and silver/gray for the handle and the parts that are seposed to be edgy :), ill make it happen somehow.

atleast it will be a home made one :) allways more valuable. Atleast to me. so i can say "yes i made it!!" at cons XD

Hey! Just to clear it up for you guys.

I made both Oblivion and Oathkeeper in this video. I have oblivion painted in my own original colors. I did not want to copy it from the game. Due to the fact that others have already done so. I wanted to make it more original and look more like a blade. I did the same thing with oathkeeper. I made these back in 2006. Made lots more keyblades since then. ;) just clearing things up fory you lol. I was thinking more of a final fantasy look at the time

woodglue it. WoodGLUE is stronger than wood itself. My keyblades have broken many times whenever I fly down to a convention. The airport breaks them. So I just woodglue them back together and then use wood filler to fill in the cracks, then repaint. No big deal. You would never know they were broken. n_-

you can find a cheap on on ebay. real metal and all. Sqaure Enix makes them. Look it up. Sometimes it's best to buy that keyblade from them.

i would buy the oathkeper and oblivion but they have to be to some extent metal and need to be painted the right way. and every detail has to be made to the keyblade. doing that will surely raise the price to a nice price but that makes it worth more.

have you made the sleeping lion yet? try to make some organization weapons too like the scythe marluxia has or the rings axel wields.
