Well, I don't think it is to be honest. There was a model of GE that had a "handwash" speed. This one is "gentle" and is just for delicates. Handwash items were intended to go in the mini-basket I believe.
This is probably the first ever video of a 3-speed GE in action as well as the only one in existence with a working clutch, congrats! Medium speed agitation is cool to, about the same speed as a solid-tub Hotpoint.
